Breakdown.. BreakThrough!

I’m seeing a lot of shifting taking place right now, for everyone including myself. All around me, i am watching as my friends and family are facing themselves and the realities that they’ve created ~ And in many cases these realities are tumbling down all around them. It is quite very intense, but also a very good thing. This needs to take place for Order to come from Chaos. It is the nature of the lesson “Breakdown – BreakThrough”, which was taught to me by Life itself, yet explained by a beautiful Unicorn Starsailer which erupted from a Holly Tree whom I had the pleasure of crossing on my journey…and living with for a while. :)

This morning I awoke to hear a very familiar yet intense song playing in my head, and this song was on repeat and the stop button wasn’t working. Upon going into the song, I looked up the lyrics to try and understand more closer what the song was about, and it brought me to the full attention of what was happening in my life and those around me, and i wish to share it with you today.Take some time to watch this video, i’ve posted the Lyrics below it, and my follow up beneath that.

Thus saith the Lord:
Since you refuse to free my people
All through the land of Egypt…

I send a pestilence and plague
Into your house, into your bed
Into your streams, into your streets
Into your drink, into your bread
Upon your cattle, on your sheep
Upon your oxen in your field
Into your dreams, into your sleep
Until you break, until you yield
I send the swarm, I send the horde
Thus saith the Lord

[Moses]
Once I called you brother
Once I thought the chance
to make you laugh
Was all I ever wanted…

[Chorus]
I send the thunder from the sky
I send the fire raining down

[Moses]
And even now I wish that God
had chose another
Serving s your foe on his behalf
Is the last thing that I wanted…

[Chorus]
I send a hail of burning ice
On ev’ry field, on ev’ry town

[Moses]
This was my home
All this pain and devastation
How it tortures me inside
All the innocent who suffer
From your stubbornness and pride…

[Chorus]
I send the locusts on a wind
Such as the world has never seen
On ev’ry leaf, on ev’ry stalk
Until there’s nothing left of green
I send my scourge, I send my sword
Thus saith the Lord!

[Moses]
You who I called brother
Why must you call down another blow?

[Chorus]
I send my scourge, I send my sword

[Moses]
Let my people go

[Moses and Chorus]
Thus saith the Lord

[Rameses]
You who I called brother
How could you have come to hate me so?
Is this what you wanted?

[Chorus]
I send the swarm, I send the horde…

[Rameses]
Then let my heart be hardened
And never mind how high the cost may grow
This will still be so:
I will never let your people go…

[Chorus]
Thus saith the Lord:

[Moses]
Thus saith the Lord:

[Rameses]
I will not…

[Moses, Rameses, and Chorus]
Let your (my) people go!

Now we know that storytelling is one of the most powerful forms of communicating ideas. I think most people are familiar with this story, but for those who don’t ~ The premise is that many thousands of years ago, a man named Moses was awoken and “tapped” by his higher self and the pure essence of a higher consciousness, which told him that he was to be the messenger for Truth, and to set the Hebrew Slaves free from the control of the Egyptian Empire.

Upon his asking to free the people, the King Rameses denied Moses what he asked for, and all sorts of chaos befell him. Plagues, Rats, Locusts, and maybe even fireballs(potentially so?) rained down upon Egypt until finally Rameses gave in and allowed them to go…and then chased them down with his army. (I know, what a stubborn mule, right?)

Things break down so that they may break through. Pheonyx recently wrote an article saying “Once you have arrived to the answer, turn back and seek again the question. It is not the answer you are seeking, but the question that will reveal to you the ultimate truth. So, what is the question?”  And so i asked myself “Would the Truth/God/Higher Consciousness of the universe really bring upon such terrible storms on anyone? The answer I came to was yes, but it was not God that brought upon the torment, it was merely a reflection of the consciousness of Ramses and the previous Kings of Egypt.

We can make a powerful connection in this to ourselves. This entire story can basically be seen as what we experience within us. When we are stubborn to the Truth of our nature, we create havoc and chaos within us. We don’t allow the energy to flow, and so it stagnates and creates plagues, and gets worse, and worse, AND WORSER, and WORSTEST!! (haha). Then that energy manifests physically, and we find ourselves where we are today. Stuck in our ways refusing to see that the Truth is staring us straight in the face!

So what is this Truth? Well, you’ll have to ask yourself some questions to find that out. I do know a trick to understanding though. It is letting go, even in the song the theme is “LET MY PEOPLE GO!” Who are the people within you? What aspect of yourself are you holding captive because of your stubbornness? (And that’s not to say stubbornness is always the problem, it may just be lack of insight. Not realizing that the food your feeding yourself with is actually poisonous, or something like that).

Truth is the Purest of Light, and Truth is Love. When we tap into that side of ourselves, the Moses within, we can be the messengers for ourselves to realize that we are actually hurting ourselves, and that what we are doing will bring no good to us. It is important to see that, for when we can let go, the enregy can flow SUPER easy.

Could you imagine if Moses was like “Hey Brother! Let my people go!” and Rameses said “Okay! Let me help you get where you need to go, we can establish trade and a bright connection between our kingdoms, and then everyone can thrive!”

I know that’s not quite the world we live in…yet…but were getting there slowly :P

Anyways, I want to wrap up by addressing a quick note about discussing a Bible story itself. There is a lot of wisdom written in all of the ancient texts, including the Bible, and its important to look deeper at the meaning within it (if it resonates with your heart, of course). This one spoke to me, and I felt obligated and excited to share it with you.

Namaste!
