In this ask teal episode, Teal shares a tip for how to live a happier life
She explains that there is no need to push against what you do not like. Not only does doing that guarantee that you will get more of what you push against, it also guarantees that you will be very negatively focused and therefore live an unhappy life. You do not need to accept all of what someone says, regardless of whether or not it resonates with you. You also do not need to reject all of what someone says based on them saying something that you do not resonate with.
The key is to:
Pick and choose what resonates (what works for you) from what doesn’t instead of either swallowing parts that you don’t resonate with or throwing the whole thing away based on not resonating with one piece of it.
We have something of value to learn from every single being who crosses our path. The trick is recognizing it. You can trust yourself to know what feels right to you. And what feels right to you will change. That is inevitable. As you learn more, experience different things and raise your vibration your perspective will change and you will resonate with different things. And so, you may throw out parts of information you have collected that no longer serve you and replace them with things that serve you better, keeping only those parts that still serve you.
Collect the people, practices, things and beliefs, which add up to your happy life. Let go of the people, practices, things and beliefs that do not. You do not have to accept even the things you do not resonate with.
You do not have to reject every part of something just because you do not resonate with part of it.
Your life is a cocktail; a totally unique cocktail of things that work for you. Collect these ingredients that create your happy life. Let go of and stop focusing on the ingredients that do not. Create your own unique religion just for you, out of the bits and pieces of things that work for you personally.

One Response to Happiness Tip

Teal could you please expand on the comment of the Mormon religion being the farthest from source energy? I was raised Mormon, but am no longer Mormon. I think I’ve had a different experience of the religion because of my parents. They were in no way strict and ended up getting a divorce, which is a big no-no in the church. My Dad is no longer Mormon, but my Mom and sister still go. Anyway, I was just surprised at the comparison of it being furthest away than all other religions.
