Spirit Science is a video series starring Patchman, who takes you on a journey into the unknown as we look at many basics of what it means to be spiritual. Chakras, Thoughts, Sacred Geometry, and even Atlantis, in Spirit Science we look at and discuss many of these topics.

I hope you continue to make these videos as it gives people an interesting perspective on life that helps people break out of their barriers and create a unity whether it be with others or within themselves. I REALLY LOVE this whole website, and I have shared many videos as well as articles from here. My friend introduced me to this a little over a year ago. I come here often and like to see what new things are up. My whole life I have spent reading and watching similar things, and it seems to me that this website synced it and everything came together. Since around 4th grade, my interest started with reading my horoscope everyday and then moved to learning about different horoscopes. There use to be a series in the theaters called “In search of” with Leonard Nimoy on different subjects from Loch Ness to UFOs. I also remember going to watch “Chariots of the Gods” several times. I was grateful when the TV series “Sightings” came on and watched it faithfully. I have read different books from Channeling,ESP, different eastern religions, pleiadians, Wicca,Chritianity, numerology, crystals, the list goes on. I have to say that this series of videos brought everything together for me as well as introduced me to other things. I can’t say I have “Mastered” anything but I have a little more than just basic knowledge in most of the thing I have studied (on my own). It has helped me to keep an open mind, it also helps me to find like minded people, or at least open minded people. Thanks for everything you do! Keep up the AWESOMENESS!!!!

WATCH INDIANA JONES KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULLS, not a day after finishing this season, i stayed with a friend who randomly suggested we watch this movie, i was pretty much flipping out the entire movie, its not all exact or so to say history, but it does put things in perspective.

Hey jordan.i love you and appreciate your enthusiasm. But i shall write down my concerns about the what ive seen and what i think about spirit science. I certainly dont mind a cosmic religion. i love meditating, i love tai chi ect and i enjoyed the series to a point. Untill the part where it started remind me of a series called “ancient aliens” (a disgrace for history channel imo). Martian invasion? Nuclear war? 13 skulls (which btw no such legend exist)???. i hope from now on you would focus and promot the spiritual side rather than “science”. Because there is no a single think that would back it up. And i curteanly dont like that fact that you keep referencing books that have no scientific value at all. Its like trying to prove that demons exist based on bible only. I realise “Spirit science” is not a documentary but an inrtoduction to new age spirituality, but as exciting as may they(the whole “alien gods” stories) sound, most of them were made up recently (no more than 60-70 years) and have no bases as ancient legend or whatever. The “west” has a habit of taking what is in “east” and selling it to people by exaggerating it. I am not trying to be a smartass or negative here, just pointig out parts that shouldnt even be there. I know that those things wasnt put there as facts, but rather to add some “color” into the whole concept, but stories that wasnt around untill 50 years ago shouldnt be in your videos today, cuz they were created mostly by salesmen, not spiritual leaders. To jbsadiqa, I happen to really like Ancient aliens, I have seen throughout my life different documentaries about aliens as well as read many books on similar subjects. Remeber also that “science” once said the world was flat and that the sun revolved around the Earth. Because the powers that be wanted it that way and wanted people to believe that. We know better now, and how do you know that the powers that be are not STILL supressing certain information? I have found more factual information that is more in line with what Jordon said than not. I have also found that it’s hard to see things when my mind is closed to it. I want to thank you Jordon for making AWESOME videos!
were you around 50 years ago? if so where did they get the idea, where did wherever they got the idea come from. An idea is a powerful thing and everything truth or lie comes from one original truth, i believe that all of our imaginations are connected and that they should not be taken as fake or what the definition of “imagination” is today. what i am trying to say is everything that we imagine is real, is truth, in one dimension/parallel universe/etc. or another, we are creators.

Hey, Patchman, I have an important question: Where do you stand on meat consumption? I ask because I’ve been having a difficult time lately deciding what is right. At first, I tried going vegetarian; it was simple enough and I got away from meat cravings, but my research shows that although I can live without meat, I won’t necessarily been fully healthy. So instead I’ve been sticking to what I call “positive energy meat.” I’ve grown up in very prominent hunting areas, and every hunter I know tries to make as clean a shot as possible. (Even if the hunter doesn’t care about the animal, more stress and suffering to the animal means bad tasting meat.) I stay away from all seafood (since there’s not really a humane way to kill a fish or crustacean). Basically, I need to find my peace with eating while still being healthy AND causing less suffering. I’d really appreciate your help. Namaste!
Hey,I’m not Jordan, but I do know a few things about nutrition. What research did you read that said not eating meat is unhealthy? I’m no nutritionist, but I have worked at a supplement store so I know a little about the science of nutrition. If it has to do with that “incomplete proteins” business, there are a lot of misunderstandings about that. Assuming you didn’t eat meat but did eat animal products, you still have four (technically five) available sources of complete protein. Those are: whey, caesin, (both from dairy products) egg protein, and soy. The “fifth” complete protein is to combine protein from two “incomplete” proteins to make a complete protein. This can be something as simple as combining black beans and rice, or peanut butter and wheat bread. Vegans only have the last two options available, so things get much more difficult if you are trying to go that route, but it is doable. (Just don’t do that crazy all fruit diet).
It varies greatly from person to person based on factors like gender, weight, and level of activity, but the range of protein needed can be anywhere from 40 grams to 160 grams daily. The biggest challenge for vegetarians is getting that much protein, but if you aren’t vegan, you can always buy protein supplements, and even vegans can buy soy protein supplements. If you do eat meat, venison is a great, lean healthy option.
As far as the ethics of eating meat are concerned, I guess I would kind of agree with you on hunted meat. The thing is, hunting does help to control deer overpopulation. Every time you kill a deer you’re also keeping the population small enough that there is a decreased chance of sickness among deer. There is also a decreased chance that they will wander out of the woods into roads and such due to lack of food, which of course means less car accidents for people. So I guess it’s a trade off. You’re taking the life of an animal, but by doing so, you’re also kind of keeping people safe.

Yes, I already researched about proteins and understand where I can find them. My real concern is about fat. Haha, yes fat, and I don’t mean buns and thighs. What I’m talking about is Visceral fat. You see, there is a reason why our organs aren’t sitting in a pile at the bottom of our torsos; visceral fat is the fat that surrounds our organs, holding them together and insulating them. Now if you look it up online you’ll find an abundance of websites stating how dangerous it is and how to lose it… etc. etc. but with anything else, moderation is key (as we would die if we didn’t have any). From what I understand though, is that you can only get/maintain this fat by consuming a certain lipid found only in animal fat. Am I incorrect about all of this? I am open to answers and willing to research further. Thanks so much!
Hey, I did a little more research after you mentioned this, and I found that your body requires two essential fatty acids: Omega 3 and Omega 6. The main sources of those come from fish products, as well as flaxseed (linseed), hemp oil, soya oil, canola (rapeseed) oil, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, leafy vegetables, and walnuts, if you are a vegetarian.
However, there is a catch. From Wikipedia: “Plant sources of ?-3 contain neither eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) nor docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).” Both of these can be made from the essential fatty acid Omega 3, but synthesizing those fatty acids uses up more of the Omega 3s, and requires more metabolic work. So basically, for vegetarianism to work well for you, as far as getting healthy amounts of fatty acids, you really need to eat a high amount of the above mentioned foods, or else you risk an omega 3 deficiency. Of course, the deficiency mainly just causes a form of dermatitis, or a skin rash.
Does that help at all or am I totally missing the mark?

I’ve watched the Spirit Science series (1-15) on YouTube twice now, and while I’m not inclined to believe EVERYTHING I read or hear, anywhere, I enjoyed Spirit Science 1-15 very much. Having studied Taoism for 11 years, many of these concepts are familiar to me. I’ve been vegetarian for the past 9 months…and vegan for the last 2. The original commenter writes of stress, fear, and suffering tainting the meat…you don’t think that happens with eggs, cheese, and especially milk? Eggs, cheese, and milk are probably OK to consume a few times a week if it’s coming from your chickens and cows in your pasture that are never tortured and slaughtered. As a vegan for 2 months, I’ve never had more energy or felt better in my life. I’ll probably eat eggs again in the future…from the small farm up the street. But to write for a “Spirit Science” website and saying it’s OK to kill deer because “Every time you kill a deer you’re also keeping the population small enough that there is a decreased chance of sickness among deer.” If that’s true…then human beings need that more than anything else. Right? Just replace the word “deer” with “people” in your statement above. You have no credibility or right to speak on spiritual matters if you’re still eating meat. Unless, of course you’re ready to rethink how you reply to the killing of an innocent animal and the eating of meat on your Spirit Science website. Or maybe you should just let Jordan answer next time?

I’m going to start with the comments I know I can address and work my way inward to the tougher questions.
On me not having the credibility or right to speak on spiritual matters: I am not a guru. I’m a seeker, and I am human…and so is Jordan. He himself has said something similar, in fact. I do not purport to have all the answers. You’re right about me having no real qualifications. I think when Jordan started Spirit Science, his qualification was that he read a book “The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life.” and that was enough to set him off on a spiritual journey. Myself, I’m a guy who’s has read up on spiritual topics, Buddhism, philosophy and the like, and wanted to share the knowledge that I had, so I asked Jordan if I could write a column for him, and he said yes. I cannot stress enough that while I help people learn, I myself am still learning, and sometimes, I am wrong. Am I in this instance? Well, I’m still trying to figure that part out. I believe that as long as we keep open communication, we learn from everybody, not just the masters, and I want to thank you a second time because I am learning from you.
As for letting Jordan answer, I would not have answered in his stead if I thought he had the time to do so. You see, he is a very busy guy. Between traveling, running a website, writing cartoons, occasional forum visits, working on his own spiritual development, answering the floods of emails he gets, and so on, there’s a good chance he just doesn’t get to see all the comments and questions on his site.
I also tend to see my role on this site less as an adviser or guide and more of a knowledge provider. I usually endeavor to just share what I’ve personally learned, and leave the opinion-making to those who read what I have say. I do this because, I don’t really feel it is my right to tell people what is right or wrong. Morality itself just seems like such an ambiguous thing to me. I obviously failed in that regard this time around and let out some words that sounded awfully like an opinion (“In regards to the hunted meat, I kind of agree with you.”) when really I meant to express a more neutral “I understand where you’re coming from” kind of thing.
Striking at the heart of the matter, I don’t know if it’s okay to kill deer or not for food. I can tell you, however, that nothing I said after that was false. When you kill deer, you are shrinking the population and reducing the need for deer to look elsewhere for food, and that in turn, does prevent collisions with deer. More deer do get sick, because that is what nature does when a population increases. It’s a natural check on populations.
And the thing is, you are 100 percent correct in your comment “JUst replace deer with people in the statement above.” On the one hand, it’s utterly abhorrent to even think about doing such a thing to people. I could honestly never think of doing such a thing. On the other hand, the human population is massively exploding in number. With every new child born, there becomes more of a need for food and fresh water, more pollution, more economic strains, more disease, suffering and death as a whole on earth. Let’s say a doctor finds a cure for cancer. He’s a hero, right, because he’s saved all those people from the horror that is cancer, yet at the same time, by saving all those lives, he’s contributed to the overpopulation problem, and down the road that’s going to cause horrors in of itself. Or let’s say the U.S. decides to start funding the production of mosquito nets coated in DDT to help protect people in Africa from mosquitos that carry Malaria. That’s a noble cause, right? Except now, when the nets are washed in the rivers, it brings pollution to the rivers and that, in turn kills the fish, makes people sick, etc. If you knew a future Hitler was going to be born, would you intervene? Would you kill someone if you knew it was the only way to save the lives of others? I’m not asking these questions because I know the answers. I’m asking them because they trouble me, they always have.
My only real point in all of this is that there’s always a trade-off, always. You can try and try to do the right thing, but inevitably you find yourself on the horns of a dilemma, and if you try too hard to resolve it, you’ll only find yourself driven to madness. Is eating meat the good or right thing to do? I don’t know. I refuse to touch the question with a ten-foot pole, because I prefer to keep my sanity.
I apologize if the last few paragraphs in this comment came off as harsh. Maybe you have some insight I am missing. These are all things experience has taught me, and I want to learn from you, all I can. Perhaps you want the same. In either case, I want you to know that I am completely earnest when I say that I wish you utter happiness.
Just wanted to toss my own opinion in on the ethics of eating meat:
In my opinion, humans have as much “right” to kill and eat meat as any other creature on the planet – perhaps more, if we help provide those animals an easy and/or pleasant life beforehand. I have no problems at all with our killing and consumption, only with cruel conditions and overall environmental harm that we often cause in the process.
That being said, there is a stage in spiritual development in which we are highly sensitized to the empathic emanations of foods we consume, and this effect is stronger as the food source becomes closer to (and thus more in tune with) our own physical bodies. During this period, being vegetarian, or even vegan, might be essential to our emotional well-being. Follow your own path and guidance, and all will be well, but be aware that not everyone is at that stage and dealing with those issues.
My own hypersensitivities, at the moment, are in a stage that would make some view me as very non-spiritual, since they involve many of the herbs and spices most commonly thought of as cleansing and helpful to spiritual paths.

And as with the hunting thing, I know a great deal of hunters and the importance/benefits of hunting for both humans AND animals. LWW is correct about the overpopulation thing. A very good example is of the rabbit problem down in Australia. There has been a HUGE rabbit overpopulation problem down there since the early 1800's with negative effects that include soil erosion problems and the dying out/ extinction of several species of plants and animals. One of my main goals in life is to find balance in all aspects in my life (or as much of it as possible). I seek not to harm or unreasonably consume animals, I wish Love and Peace to all. At the same time, however, I want to be the best I can be (for myself and others) and take care of me. I seek to find that balance that benefits ALL who breathe. May peace be with you. <3

Sorry about the double post, but this could be an idea for another lesson: DMT – The Spirit Molecule. It is a book by Dr. Rick Strassman. DMT is produced in the pineal gland of the human body (and various other mammals as well as plants, trees, ..). It is also researched by Alexander Shulgin. There are no hard truths about this molecule yet, but it definetly has something to do with the evolving of consciousness. Please investigate further !

I don’t know if this is OK to mention, but people interested in higher consciousness should learn about Dr. Alexander Shulgin. I’m a bit triffled as to why you haven’t mentioned him yet. Ot did I miss it ?
This guy is fascinated about the Human mind (as he puts it: “not the brain, the mind”) and he has created and explored various psychoactive compounds to aid him in his quest. Mainstream media call him “Dr. Ecstacy” but that’s a name he doesn’t like himself. “There’s an element of notoriety there that’s not good” he says. As you have asked us to keep an open mind, I now ask the same of you. It is through his compounds that I learned to work through my negative emotions, eventually learning about chakras, meditation and ultimately, Spirit Science. I’ll finish with another quote of him: “What it is doing is allowing me to communicate with parts of me that I had not communicated with for a very long time.”
This is a guru, in every sense of the word.

I agree with Zara; sex is the ultimate pinnacle of positive energy (creating life) as opposed to negative energy (destroying a life). I would be interested to hear not only how meditation, crystals, and other aspects of spirit science enhance our ability to appreciate and harness sexual energy, but how ancient societies such as the Atlanteans viewed and performed sex.

I have heard of a man in my village who was not so educated, but he was able of burning anything simply by chanting some words and then pointing at the object.
But if there is a moving water in between him and object, then it does not work. He is no more now. He was already dead by the time I was born.
How can a uneducated regular farmer who learned some words/mantra from someone and then shown to everyone by burning 1 tree and also 1 cowdung.
What was his power?

After watching it on youtube and being left with a feeling of wanting more, I looked around and found lessons 1-15 in a 4 hour video, so I watched it all, then came to this site and found 16-19. Great work. Quite a bit of it I have found through various sources, but hadn’t been able to link all together as you have, thank you for that.

Sarah, some advice if you don’t mind. In your search for truth that fits your understanding, or as i like to put it “something you can wrap your brain around,” make sure you don’t BUY anything. Simply EXPERIENCE things. Jordan reminds you of this in his video’s, as he is on the same path. Whenever you wholesale buy a particular theory or idea as truth, it closes the mind to future revelations, should they possibly contradict the theory you bought. That being said, if you keep doing what you are doing, I am certain that the TRUTH of everything will be shown to you, exactly in the manner you are able to receive it. And these videos are an excellent tool to help you on your journey

I love all of your work and I really appreciate it, however I recomend a FAQ episode cause I still have some questions and I’m sure a lot people still do like if in spirit science is there the believe in one higher deinety known as god and if its true the use of certain drugs can open up the 3rd eye etc.
I think I may be able to help here. When you ask if there is one higher deity known as god, you are looking at it all still from the prespective of old theology. What I belive most of us think of as god is simple the force and energy that connects everything, like when the bible says god is in us all and in everything and the more spiritual paths say we are all one, basicaly they are saying the same thing. Since we and all life are physical manifestations of the same conscience then we are all god and god is all of us.

I found the Science Spirit series videos on Youtube by chance, and find them very interesting. However I noticed that you address only to a North American audience, and you do not realize that not only Americans use Youtube but so does the rest of the world! Jordan speaks too fast and it’s almost impossible to follow him for a person who speaks English as a second language, in fact almost all the rest of the world speak a second language and that is English. If you are unable to speak more slowly please write what is said in the video on your website. Thank you.

Primarily, my questions are about where some of your information comes from regarding the history of humanity, is there a resource you used or is that an original idea from you that you discovered through your own spiritual channeling/experiences? How exactly did this idea come about or what caused you to ‘remember’ it? I haven’t been able to find much information about these ‘Nacaals’ for example – but maybe I haven’t been looking enough… This is a great series of videos you have compiled, by the way
