When people say they don’t have time, what they are really saying is they don’t have energy. All of life comes down to energy. I know what a lot of you are thinking this is the cop-out most people use to not hang out with someone else but even if that is the case that itself comes down to energy dynamics because they don’t have the energy to give to the person they are not wanting to share energy or”time” with. I am not talking about why someone else says this but more so an intimate look at what would cause you to say, “I just don’t have the time.” Most of the time this is a response that is wistfully said after someone challenges you to do something that you have been longing to implement in your life or that you just can’t imagine doing because of how exhausted you are, even if you know it may be good for you!
The truth though is that we all have the innate ability to thrive, to access an abundant source of energy if we put the right components together to support our process. Everything in life is about energy cycles, whether it is the weather, the seasons, your breathing, your heartbeat or your sleep and waking cycles; all of life requires an ebb and flow. In ancient sciences there was a rhythm to this flow and a way to help facilitate with ease where our life energy naturally moves through.
Yet the core truth of all of the universe is that at the center of all ancient or modern science is one rule called the Law of the Conservation which states that the sum of all the energies of the universe, actual and potential, is unchangeable. Meaning that all of the energy that has ever been present will always be present. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, energy move in form, through form and out of form and energy always will be and always has been. [shareaholic app=”share_buttons” id=”5111573″]
Although this energy is ruled by a Law of Conservation we measure energy by the way it shifts and changes. Kinematics, potential energy, thermal physics, electricity, magnetism, cosmic radiation, waves and optics all are measured through movement. So are the subtle and esoteric energies measured within the body, through movement or lack there of. Whether it be Chi (from the Chinese, Ki (from the Japanese) or Prana (from India) even the meridian and chakra systems all are measured by a sense of flow or movement.
So if you are wanting to have more energy in your life, it would make sense that there is lack of movement. There is stagnant energy or blocked energy within the mind, body or spirit and this causes a drainage or leaking of your essential life energy.
Whether it is a person, an environment or a personal false belief that is draining your time or energy. You are literally giving away life force to something that does not serve you. I am going to try to facilitate the flow and the movement by offering a few ways you can assess where the blockages or lack of movement may be.
I used to work for a chiropractor and unlike an acupuncturist who would take your pulse to note blockages or how a reiki practitioner uses their hands to sense energy flow distribution or a massage therapist with assessing tension in the muscles. I was taught to ask specific, targeted questions to help assist the doctor I was working for to locate and remove what is termed subluxations or blockages in the nervous system.
This comes down to three question that lead to one ultimate cause of all energy blockages within the body, stress. So I will ask you these questions, feel free to get a pen and piece of paper to brainstorm your energy mind map:
How is your physical stress? Have you had many physical accidents or traumas within your lifetime. An example would be a car accident or sports injury. Have you addressed a comprehensive or complete healing for these injuries heal naturally? (Believe it or not this is the least significant, since the body is usually so intuitive about healing our bodies injuries (unless it was something quite traumatic)
How is your chemical stress? By chemical stress I mean the more chemicals in your environment that your body is bombarded with and the less nutrients and antioxidants it has to cope the more your body will have to work or leak energy to create deficiencies. Do you use artificial sweeteners, organic self care products like fluoride free toothpaste and aluminium free deodorant. Do you eat most whole foods instead of processed foods? If so, are they organic?
How is your emotional stress? How are your personal relationships? How was your childhood? Do you carry pain from past experiences? Do you worry about the future? Do you have support from family, friends or a partner? Are you doing what you feel is your life’s purpose and/or do you feel fulfilled in life? Believe it or not this is the most significant factor in energy production or drainage.
After you have mapped all of this out then you have a way to look at different areas you can work on to start increasing your energy increase. I feel that the physical and chemical stress reduction is easy to understand if you have not address a physical injury from in your past look at holistic therapies like massage, reiki and acupuncture. If you are having too many chemicals in your diet replace those with more nutrition.
Wake up, meditate and then drink 16-24oz of fresh cold lemon water. Instead of the coffee in the morning try a green juice or superfood smoothie that will provide sustainable energy for your cells instead of burning out your adrenals. My suggestion for a superfood smoothie is to use Maca powder to help rehabilitate the adrenals, try to pick low glycemic foods like berries to dodge a sugar crash later in the day, goji berries for liver support which offers more sustainable energy, as well as B vitamins, chia seeds for omega 3’s and toxins elimination, vegan protein hemp or pea powder to cut down on waste and provide sustainable energy and coconut water for balance hydration.
I feel the hardest stress to get a finger on it’s pulse is the emotional or spiritual stress, if I were to recommend one thing to balance this center, it would be to meditate with clear intention of what you want brought to light to help clear from your subconscious and conscious mind. If you are ready and truly trust in the process, your subconscious mind and spirit will lead you to your healing.
Lastly and one of the most powerful changes is to follow as close as possible to the Chinese Human Body Energy Clock:
