The Problem With “Trusting in The Universe”

One of the main concepts surrounding modern spirituality is the idea of letting go and trusting the universe. Many people preach it, many pictures quote it and many of us live by it.

This ideology can get a bit dangerous when it’s overused. There becomes an air of carefreeness in the typical ‘spiritual’ person that stems from the mentality of just trusting in the universe.

holographic-universe

The idea of trusting in the universe is a double edged sword. One side says don’t try to control every single thing because you can’t, and the other side says don’t worry about it because you don’t need to – just trust the universe.

It is that other side of the sword that gives spirituality it’s taboo reputation and discredits people in the new age movement. You are the physical manifestation of the universe and you need to create the actions in your reality that generate the results you want. To just trust in something greater than yourself and not take the steps to seeing its fruition is void of accountability.

The core issue with simply trusting in the universe is that it is void of accountability, responsibility and reflection. It is a mechanism of spiritual bypassing that disallows us from reflecting on why things happen. It stops our thought process when we ask why something happened, and answers it with because the universe said so.  Continue reading

3 Unreal Stories of Children Who Remember Their Past Lives

Alright, let’s get real here.

Consciousness does not just cease to exist after death; it is a fundamental energy that is not limited to the physical. Hundreds of thousands of people around the world have had first hand experience of vivid past life memories.

Many people experience them through visions or dreams, or actually dying and returning to life. A continually-added to document of over 2400 reincarnation cases are being studied at The University of Virginia.

More and more children are being born ‘awakened’ and have access to past life memories and deeper insights other children cannot seem to comprehend. These children have vivid details that could not simply be obtained from tv shows or books. They have names, dates and details of specific events that could only be known through intense research or personal experience.

Understanding the mechanics of reality allows us to see that energy exists beyond linear time, physicality and our constructs of normal

James Leininger

The first experience comes from a 6 year old boy named James. From an early age, he took a keen interest in planes and aviation; he’d only play with toy planes until the age of 2. His admiration for planes shifted as he grew, he started to have nightmares of being in crashing planes, saying “Airplane crash on fire, little man can’t get out.”12416470_f520

His mom Andrea, like many parents, was at first very doubtful. It was actually her mother who first suggested it.

Many parents dismiss past life experiences because their children’s imaginations are so vivid and other worldly.

Yet, she says there is no way he would have known about some of these details. One time they had bought James a toy plane and she pointed out what she thought  were bombs on the bottom. James corrected her, saying they were called drop tanks.

“I’d never heard of a drop tank,” she said. “I didn’t know what a drop tank was.”

They watched children’s shows, never anything about or referencing World War II documentaries or military history. Most of this experiences would come out as he was falling asleep or drowsy. So fascinating!

James had told his parents his plane had been hit by the Japanese and crashed. He also started signing his crayon drawings as James 3. This soon started his father, Bruce to start researching and finding out that the only pilot from the squadron killed at Iwo Jima was James M. Huston Jr.

12416475_f260He said he took off from Natoma and gave the name of someone he flew with, Jack Larson. After researching, Bruce had found out that the place and name were very much real. James also said he was shot down at Iwo Jima and took a direct hit on the engine.

A man named Ralph Clarbour who was a rear gunner on an aircraft that also took off from Natoma Bay, says his plane was right next to one flown by James M. Huston Jr. near Iwo Jima on March 3, 1945.

 Cameron Macaulay

This young boy Cameron Macaulay is super interesting. I had found videos of him a few years ago and always loved watching the documentary. Cameron is a young boy growing up in Scotland, and ever since the age of two he has talked about a previous life on Barra, an island 200 miles away on the west coast of Scotland.

No one has ever told him about Barra before, he hasn’t seen advertisements on screens or pictures in books. He is able to describe immense details of his previous life; he says he lived in a white house that over looked the beach and sea. He says planes would land on the beach and he that had many brothers and sisters. They owned a black and white dog as well.Screen Shot 2016-04-06 at 6.07.20 PM

He would always say he missed his Barra mom, and that his current mom would have liked her as well. Cameron says his Barra dad was named Shane Robertson and had died after getting ‘knocked’ by a car.

What’s so interesting about this story is that only half the facts are true, and the ones that are, are very strange. There was no Shane Robertson but there was a black and white dog. There was a white house over looking the beach that matched his description, but planes didn’t land on the beach.

This case seems like a mixing of realities. Infinite versions of different timelines exist within our fractal universe. He might have been mixing different timelines, memories and experiences that just don’t line up on the 3D.

Cameron is undeniably insightful. He had told one of his friends not to worry about dying, you just come back again. And when his mother asked him how he got here, he replied with “I fell through, and went into your tummy.”

Edward Austrian

Four-year-old Edward has also had similar experiences. Ever since he was born he had been afraid of gray, gloomy days. Over time, he had started to develop a problem with his throat. He would say his shot was hurting whenever he had a sore throat. He started telling his mother very detailed stories about his previous life in the muddy trenches of what seemed like World War I.

He describes how he had been shot in the throat and that was what killed him.

Screen Shot 2016-04-06 at 6.02.45 PMHis doctors were unable to find the root cause for his consistent sore throats, so they removed his tonsils as a precautionary measure, which then developed into a cyst.

None of the doctors could figure out why it kept happening, but the more he would openly talk about his past life, the better his throat would get.

Everything is so much more connected than we understand, our emotional and mental suppression can lead to physical disease. As he was able to emotionally open up to the people around him, his body physically healed itself.

We are living in the age of disbelief, where we need scientists and people with PhD’s to tell us what is and isn’t real. It’s time to transcend the limiting concepts of what is normal in this reality. People all around the world are experiencing, not imagining the same events and memories. Scientifically, we shut out what we don’t understand and can’t immediately measure.

Seeing is believing isn’t how it works – believing allows us to see.

This Boy Remembers His Past Life As A 1930’s Hollywood Actor

This is such a mind blowing story.

This isn’t the first account of a child remembering their past lives – there are thousands of recorded cases of the exact same experience from kids all over the world. This caught my eye because it was an NBC newscast which I just found amazing. Enough people in the collective consciousness are interested in past lives to get it on the news.

This 10 year old boy from Oklahoma named Ryan, was born with the memories of his past experiences. He is able to remember vivid details of his past life, which took place in 30’s Hollywood. He says he was an actor on broadway who worked for an agency, travelled the world and was married 5 times. They were actually able to open a book and have him point to a man he says he was.5508593070940-past-life-1

His mom, acting as a support, decided to take him to a child psychologist who really seemed to know what’s going on. He approached these cases with a beautifully open mind, something many professors are afraid of doing.

His conclusion after 50 years of the university collecting 2500 different cases of children remembering past lives is: “These cases demand an explanation, we can’t just write them off.”

They were able to confirm 55 of the things Ryan said were accurate. How could a child make up something so specific, so foreign to them? There’s so much in this world we don’t fully comprehend, but instead of dismissing it, we need to actively support the investigation of these topics.  Continue reading

3 “Natural” Health Products That Aren’t So Natural After All

I thought about writing this article in the shower the other day after randomly glancing at my shampoo’s ingredient list. I’ve always tried to use natural products, and I had been using ‘Nature’s Gate’ for awhile. I figured it was much better than a typical chemical-filled shampoo, but I never actually thoroughly read it’s ingredients. The thing that caught my eye was one called Polysorbate 20. Anything with a number after the name sounds suspicious.

Here’s the real problem with these products: It’s much easier and cheaper to make your own, 2 ingredient solution to use at home. Anything from soap, toothpaste, cleaner – anything, can be just as effective without the chemicals. It’s no conspiracy to understand that most of the mainstream products purposefully have intense ingredients because, it gets the job done. And then products that are considered organic, still have harsh chemicals in them and they are extremely expensive for many of us.

So I got researching a bit and here’s what I found:

Natures Gate Shampoo

I noticed when I was reading a bunch of different products, they all say what ISN’T in their products right on the front, with a long list on the back. These products are designed very specifically to catch your eye and aesthetically please you enough to get you to buy it.Natures-Gate-June-Monthly-2015-products

Each type of Nature’s Gate shampoo has different ingredients, and some are more chemical based than others. I have a ginger and basil one that has Polysorbate 20 in it. I found an informative article on this single ingredient, and pretty much in its original form, polysorbate is a sorbitol, which is essentially ‘sugar alcohol’. When it’s put in care products, it’s treated with 20 parts of ethylene oxide, hence the 20 in the name. Continue reading

A 29,000 Year Old “Siberian Unicorn” Skull Was Just Found

340px-Elasmotherium_1878

Unicorns were real, and they looked something like this. Not the typical, white haired horse you were expecting – but it’s close enough.

It was said that people of the past mistook rhinos as unicorns, not knowing what they were. But it’s not outlandish to think there were variations of species thousands of years ago, some just happened to look similar to what we picture as ‘unicorns’.

It was thought this long extinct mammal died out around 350,000 years ago, but this recent discovery changes everything.

It was thought the animal looked closer to a rhino but this skull shows its much more akin to a horse and was actually still existing 29,000 years ago. Just found in Kazakhstan, this species of animal is known as Elasmotherium sibiricum.

The early descriptions of the Siberian unicorn say it was around 2 metres tall, 4.5 metres long, and weighed close to 4 tonnes. This is bigger than the horses we know today, but back then the typical size of an animal was much larger.

This “Siberian Unicorn” skull was found in the Pavlodar region of Kazakhstan and was in surprisingly good shape. Researchers from Tomsk State University used radiocarbon dating techniques to determine exactly how old the bones were. They suggest it was a male based on the size but are still unsure as to how it died.  Continue reading

3 Absoutely Stunning Easter Egg Designs You Can Do At Home

It’s that time of year again! Wether or not you celebrate Easter religiously, this is a time for family to come together and remember everything we have to be thankful for.

It’s a time of celebration, of the rebirth of spring and life from the Earth. Recently, I had seen so many amazing egg dying tricks I just had to share a few. Many traditions of Easter date back to the 13th century and are linked back to the pagan tradition. The symbol of the eggs come from the idea of fertility and new life.

As spring rolls around, the nature of beauty of the Earth is coming back to greet us all! So it’s time to celebrate life through designing some unique patterns on your very own eggs – a representation of you bringing your own energy to this world. Like drawing on a blank canvas, you’re creating the story through images!

Anything from galaxy eggs to incredibly intricate designs that we can all create, they just take time – they are all so beautiful and fun to do. Here are a few of my favorites, I hope you enjoy!

Galaxy Eggs

Using just different paints and some sparkles, you can take your eggs to a different dimension. It’s super easy to make these and no artistic skill is needed, galaxies aren’t meant to be perfect!
