These Magical Mirror Cakes Are Taking The Web By Storm

I saw these mystical cakes floating around the interwebs and thought it would be fun to make an article on it. I’ve never seen cakes like this before! Like, I’ve seen glossy cakes, but these are straight up cosmic mirrors. The Russian baker, Olga Noskova, was recently recognized for her special talent in cake making.
These designs all look like actual glass, or like you’re peering into a distant galaxy.

“This is my art, for which I am inspired by nature and different tastes and I make my cakes, that people love, as I learned,”she told told RT in an interview.

So how exactly is this intense shine created? It is an old French technique, dating way back 40 to 50 years. It is essentially, gelatin, sugar and water as the base, and different ingredients can be added to create different effects. Simple, right?

You need to pour it onto of already frosted cakes, other wise the cake itself absorbs the glaze like a sponge.

The way she does it is so similar to a painting, or in some cases an actual universe. The exact method of how those incredible details are created remains only known to the creator!

This is art! It is so much more than just food to eat. It actually evokes something within us; it intrigues us.

Many us of experience what we call a ‘midlife crisis’. What does this really mean? For a lot of people, it means they have ignored their internal guidance system for so long, and that built up pressure now has to release. If you’ve been denying, lying and ignoring your inner desires, these can manifest as a ‘midlife crisis.’

* The first phase is called the state of denial. People withdraw from family life and worry a lot in this phase.

* The second phase is when people become restless and irritable.

* The bombshell is dropped in the next phase of truth, and confrontation is met. Sometimes a relapse occurs to the phase of anger.

* Depression is the next phase, with all the negative emotions that belong with it. Nothing makes sense. Continue reading

What Is The Difference Between The Soul, Self and The Supreme-Self?

We are aware of the words Soul, Self and the Higher or Supreme self. We often mistakenly get confused and consider these three words meaning as same. But there is a fundamental difference in consciousness that these words represent.

liberty_of_soul_by_veinsofmercury-d646fqkThe Soul is the individual, Self and Supreme self-are Universal.
1 . Supreme self is the Supreme Principle, whatever we call it: God, Supreme Self, Divine Self, Love, Truth or Reality.

2. Self may be described as Supreme self’s ray of light, which exists as the “light of life” in every living being. It is part of Supreme self and is therefore, identical in nature with it.

Just as the seed of a tree contains all the qualities of the tree, the atman also carries the qualities of the Supreme Self.

The word, atman means “the individually distinct entity,”aka, the self, in Sanskrit.

3. Soul, the individual soul, is the reflection of the Self within an individual; a “wave” that emerges from the ocean of existence and wanders from embodiment to embodiment. After a long process of development and experience, the soul returns to the unity of the Self. Continue reading

Self-Mastership: How To Become Your Own True Love

A relationship is never the answer to your loneliness. The feelings of emptiness, unhappiness, depression and self-hate are already inside of you. Most people tend to create new relationships based not on what they want, but in response to what they perceive to lack. They look outside of themselves, saying, “when I find someone, I will be happy, satisfied, and fulfilled’.

When they do find someone to have a relationship with, it is exciting and fulfilling for a few months, or maybe a few years. When the original feelings come up again, they start blaming the other person for their loneliness, depression, self-hate and their unhappy life, and may even start to hate the other person. The other person, in turn, may dim their own light, by demanding your energy, time, and your personality.

It is their fear, their pain and their depression that starts chasing you, sucking your energy and imprisoning your beautiful free soul. You may do the same to them because of your own emptiness. This is not what you were looking for. selflove

NOTHING outside of yourself, not a relationship or another person, will ever bring you true happiness, fulfillment or peace of heart. You are your own hero, your own lover, your own answer to all of your prayers, and your own TRUE LOVE.

Nothing outside of yourself will ever truly satisfy you

Today is the day to become your own True Love! Start to love every aspect of yourself, including all of your Darkness and your Light. Start to appreciate and love your own personality; become your own best friend. Find out what nourishes your soul, and find the sacredness in each moment: Take a walk in the forest. Talk to the spirits. Watch funny movies in your bed. Create art, or write from deep inside of your soul. Start to embrace all that you are in your divinity.

Stop waiting for something or someone outside of you. YOU are what you’ve been looking and waiting for the whole time. Stop searching, stop demanding. Each of us is a free, sovereign spirit, meant only to share and celebrate our true essences together. Nurture yourself and listen to your inner voice. Get to know YOU! Give yourself all that you need and want as you start to become aware of yourself.

13 Wise Quotes To Shift Your Perspective On Death

Death is not what we think it is. It is not an end, and it is not really a beginning either – it is a shift. A shift in understanding, remembering and perceiving what the true nature of reality is. It is our consciousness separating from the physical, surpassing the density, limits and material aspects of this dimension. It is an “Oh yeah…” moment for many.
“To die tomorrow was no worse than dying on any other day. Every day was there to be lived or to mark one’s departure from this world.”
– Paulo Coelho
“Death is a stripping away of all that is not you. The secret of life is to “die before you die” – and find that there is no death.”
– Eckhart Tolledeath-and-transformation
“We are not going to change the whole world, but we can change ourselves and feel free as birds. We can be serene even in the midst of calamities and, by our serenity, make others more tranquil. Serenity is contagious. If we smile at someone, he or she will smile back. And a smile costs nothing. We should plague everyone with joy. If we are to die in a minute, why not die happily, laughing?”
