This man is amazing!

Alexei Romanov is a fingerless pianist from Kazan who recently became popular in Russia. After he uploaded a video of himself on youtube playing a song from the twilight soundtrack, some of the Russian segment of the internet went crazy! Featured on Russian Times, Alexei shows us we can do anything when we set our minds to it.

How many people would assume, if you don’t have fingers, how could you play a piano?! Well, this is how. Another video shows Alexei playing the piano on stage, in front of a very large crowd!

People like this are pushing the boundaries for what’s possible for someone who is considered ‘disabled’.

They are clearly capable of whatever they set their minds to. This is beautifully inspiring to watch. So, what are you waiting for?! Go out and set your mind to doing what you love!

When I was a little boy, I used to wonder what those beautiful streaks in the sky were. Why would some of them dissipate immediately, and others stayed in the sky all day?

Wikipedia defines contrails as “condensation trails or vapor trails, which are line-shaped clouds sometimes produced by aircraft engine exhaust…composed mainly of water, in the form of ice crystals.”  Apparently the exhaust contains small impurities left hanging in the air that leads to the trails lasting longer than usual, but this doesn’t quite explain the double-volcano-smokestacks seen spewing from behind low flying planes.

According to wikipedia; “Chemtrails, according to the unproven chemical conspiracy theory, are long-lasting trails left in the sky by high-flying aircraft consisting of chemicals or biological agents deliberately sprayed for sinister purposes…although proponents have attempted to prove that the claimed chemical spraying does take place, their analyses have been flawed or based on misconceptions.”

So there’s no evidence that planes ever deliberately spray chemicals, other than of course crop dusters?

If you dig a little deeper, you will discover there is a form of weather modification known as ‘Cloud Seeding‘.

Wikipedia states that; “Cloud seeding, a form of weather modification, is the attempt to change the amount or type of precipitation that falls from clouds, by dispersing substances into the air that serves as cloud condensation or ice nuclei, which alter the microphysical processes within the cloud.” This can also be termed ‘Geoengineering’.

The ‘seeding’ refers to how clouds, and ultimately storms, are formed. Particles suspended in the air by dust carried by wind, have an innate electrical charge which attract water vapor to form molecules of water. This in turn attracts other molecules to form condensation or clouds. It is simple electrostatics. Continue reading →

Heaven is a state of being. 

I thought this video was fascinating from a perspective that is beyond religion, Jesus and the personification of God.

After a having his appendix rupture at the age of 3, Colton Burpo died and went to what many people understand as “Heaven”. He says he saw Jesus gently float down and take him through the light, to a place he called “The Throne Room of God”. There, he met his dad’s grandpa who told him about how he used to farm with his grandson. He also met an unborn sister that, when he told his mom about, was utterly astonished. There was no way he could have known any of the information he had after waking up.

What happened in that higher state of being is not a religious experience, it is beyond our understanding of concept. Your surroundings after you die is a reflection of your consciousness in this life. If you grow up in a religious household, constantly interacting with religious symbols and figures, those ideas are embedded into your consciousness and get reflected back to you when you die.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane…?!

No, it’s definitely a Taurus. 

I am in a relationship with the most Taurus-y Taurus out there.

As a Pisces/Aquarius cusp, we are on either sides of the spectrum. My emotional waters spill over his stability; my air dances with his Earth as we learn to understand each other.

The Taurus is the second sign in the zodiac. Latin for bull, Taurus is represented by the Cretan Bull in Greek mythology. The symbol of the bull is determined, strong willed and persistent in it’s nature.

Ruled by Venus, the planet of beauty, pleasure and emotional attachments; Taurus becomes a balance of the male and female aspects within us.

Libra, the balancer.

This is the seventh sign in the zodiac. It is represented by the symbol of scales,  from the scales of justice held by the Themis, the Greek personification of divine law. Libra is one of the three air signs, making it mental in nature. It was said that Rome was founded when the moon was in Libra, the perfect balance.

Everything is balanced and righteous with this sign. It’s position in the constellation is very interesting, with it being right in between Virgo and Scorpio, the two sides almost opposites of each other. Virgo represents the virgin while Scorpio is known to have a lot of sexual energy.

Many libra’s are extreme perfectionist and hard workers. My partner is one of the most Libra-y Libra’s out there. The level of sensitivity, hyper awareness and balance he brings is outstanding. He has described being a libra as loving to make things perfect, balancing those scales just right, then once you get bored, you tip the scales again and start over – just for the fun of it.

Some libra’s are the perfect leaders for this world because they are fair minded, social, and just in their actions. Justice and equality are some of the most important things to a libra. They try to make peace wherever they go and will often put the needs of others before their own. This can leave them drained and in need to recharge if they aren’t careful about where they place their energy.

The sign of libra is ruled by Venus, the planet of passion, beauty, and love – especially when shared with someone else. They love beautiful spaces, carefully crafted things and the luxur

y of life. My partner absolutely love fancy spaces, but it’s not about it being expensive or luxurious, it’s about the craftsmanship and care that went into it.

Libra’s are known to have self-pity sometimes when things don’t go right. They’ve also been known to hold grudges against people when they feel hurt. Trust is of the utmost importance to a libra. They’re incredibly sensitive and forgiving when they that it is deserving. They care so deeply about creating harmony that they forget to work on creating that harmony within them.

It said that many Libra’s depend on their partners, weighing their success or failure in life on their relationship. This is because they know we are inherently social creatures and, as a perfectionist, they are always trying to get things to work.

They don’t give up easily, they really are some of the most dedicated and hard-working people. It’s interesting, because many libra’s are considered to be lazy, when in my experience, they are actually trying to find effective ways for find long-term solutions rather than just covering up problems with a band aid.

Just because they love beautiful things doesn’t mean they are shallow  or superficial in their relationships. It is about finding the beauty in personality and mentality. If you have a special libra in your life, be attentive to their needs and their immediate surroundings, as many of them flourish in tidy spaces. It helps clear their over-stimulated mind.

When they are given the space and freedom to thrive, Libra’s can find incredible solutions to some of our worlds largest problems.
