Everybody experiences ‘feelings’ that seem to originate from our abdominal region. That sinking sensation before addressing a room of people, ‘butterflies in your stomach’, or that awful twisting feeling from negative situations, are a few of the common experiences. While a mostly unexplained phenomenon, humans have learned to trust and acknowledge these feelings.

They are highly relatable to our intuition, growling our subconscious thoughts and feelings when our mind is preoccupied.

Your nervous center can be broken up into your central and peripheral systems. The central is your brain, where we make use of all of those awesome cognitive processes.

The peripheral is where impulses are sent from the brain to various systems and functions. Researchers have been probing the concept of these ‘gut feelings’ and finding out we may need to re vamp the peripheral nervous system’s definition.

A dense network has been found in the abdominal cavity. This network consists of over one hundred million neurons and is called the Enteric Nervous System (ENS). Dr. Jay Pasricha, Director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Neurogastroenterology, has conducted internationally renowned research into the topic. The Dr. explains,

“Its main role is controlling digestion, from swallowing to the release of enzymes that break down food to the control of blood flow that helps with nutrient absorption to elimination. The enteric nervous system doesn’t seem capable of thought as we know it, but it communicates back and forth with our big brain—with profound results.”

There are studies across the world being conducted to better understand the ENS and its relation to the rest of the body.

There are prevailing suppositions that this system is related to Irritable Bowl Syndrome, metabolism control, and may be a potential way for us to reduce risks type two diabetes.

Shocking Discovery: Archaeologists Find 10,000 Year Old Paintings Of “Alien” Visitors

As we have more and more time accumulated looking under rock formations and digging through rubble, we find more answers to the questions we ave about our past. A lot of discoveries end up forming new questions but at least our questions are more specific with newly attained information. In Chhattisgarh, India, there are cave drawings dating back 10,000 years. While art in every form has its own value, it was what was depicted that caught international attention. The pictures are drawings of beings missing their noses and mouths. They are holding strange objects that have yet to be identified. They are shown next to obviously human figures which makes the distinction all the more obvious.

While the international community is finding these for the first time, local residents have know about them for generations. Chandeli and Gotitola are villages nearest the finding. Some of the local residents and their ancestors even worshiped this archaeological wonder. Stories have been passed down about the ‘rohela people’ (the little ones). They narrate that the rohela would come out of the sky in ’round shaped’ objects. They would sometimes take some of the villagers, and the villagers were never seen again.

The paintings are in amazing shape for their age. Preserved in caves and in protected over hangs, we can see the craftsmanship and detail well. There is another image of a saucer like object that has fans coming off its hull. It is hard to look at the image and imagine anything but an UFO.

‘We can’t refuse the possibility of imagination by prehistoric men but humans usually fancy such things,’ lead archaeologist, JR Bhagat, warns. ‘The findings suggest that humans in prehistoric times may have seen or imagined beings from other planets which still create curiosity among people and researchers. Extensive research is needed for further findings. Chhattisgarh presently doesn’t have any such expert who could give clarity on the subject.’

He is very serious when he says more research is needed. These cave paintings are in the Charama region, Kanker district in the tribal Bastar region. Bhagat was called in to verify that it was a legitimate find, which he confirmed. There are no specialists of any kind in the region. While invitations to study the paintings have been sent, no solid plans of study have been announced.

10 Fascinating Stories Children Told Their Parents About Their Past Lives

Kids say some pretty bizarre and insightful stuff sometimes. Other times they are just hard to understand or outright creepy. I wrote an article about a kid overseas that found his pasts life’s killer, body and murder weapon. It got me thinking about other instances where very young children were able to know things from their past life.

Below are my summaries of some of some of the more interesting or creepy stories revolving around this concept. They scary stories get better with every retelling. Whats the most startling his how these stories start around the age of two to three. Whether your bag is reincarnation, spirits, or something more deeply personal, I guarantee these stories are going to entertain!

“And This One is Mine”

There was a little boy around two or three years old. He used get upset when people called him by his name. He would yell out that his name was Austin.

Once, while picnicking in a park the kid bolted off with no patience for explanation. His brother and Father gave chase, finally catching up to him in a cemetery.

The kid had uncovered an headstone that simply read, ‘Here Lies Austin’.

“We Avoid Firefighters”

A family lived in the city and was used to seeing various emergency vehicle flitting by. The youngest boy,one day after seeing a firetruck passing by, he recounted that, ‘used to be a firefighter, and we got called to a fire. There wasn’t any family inside the house, so we just put the fire out. Then the fire truck caught on fire and I died’.
