Backed By Science: Your Intentions And Thoughts Create Your Physical World

Dr. Masaru Emoto is internationally renowned researcher and alternative healer. His water molecule experiments were featured in the film What the Bleep Do We Know? His experiments have the consistent theme of demonstrating human thoughts and intentions can alter physical reality.

This rice experiment is simple and easy to recreate. It calls focus to the different effect of positive and negative thoughts.

Dr. Emoto placed portions of cooked rice into clear containers. He then labeled one ‘you fool’ and the other ‘thank you’.

He placed the containers at the entrance to a school. The students were instructed to say the labels aloud to the jars everyday as they entered the school. The results were astounding.

After thirty days of daily communication, there was a notable change between the two. The jar labeled ‘you fool’ decomposed at an accelerated rate. The negative thoughts and intentions had a profound effect of making the rice breakdown faster.

Science-Meditation-Mind-Molecular-Zen-BrainThe jar labeled ‘thank you’, showed almost no decomposition. The positivity helped to maintain the structure and health of the rice.

This evidence of thoughts interacting with the physical plain has far reaching implications.

We have yet to begin to quantify the exact exchange that occurs from our thoughts, but the implications are there, waiting for someone to unlock it.

Cleanse And Heal Yourself And Your Environment Using Simple Smudging Rituals.

For thousands of years, Native Americans have burned sacred plants in a bowl or on a stick to drive away negative energies and restore balance. You can use this same wisdom in today’s modern world to heal and restore balance to your life. When you light a smudge stick you’re connecting with a spiritual tradition that originates from the depths of time.

The herbs most often used in smudge sticks are sage and sweetgrass. The spirit of sage has the power to drive out negative energies, spirits, and influences. The powerful spirit of sweetgrass is used to attract positive energy and to aid healing after all the negativity has been banished by sage. Cedar can also be used for this same task. A small ceramic or stone bowl or a large shell to place your smudge stick is useful as well as a large feather to waft the smudge. Smudging summons the spirits of sacred plants, asking them to drive away negativity and put you back into a state of balance. It is the psychic equivalent of washing your hands before eating and is used as an essential preliminary to almost all native North American ceremonies.

For self clearing or clearing someone else, light the end of your smudge stick until the tip starts to smolder. Call on the spirits of the smudge to cleanse and protect you, saying; “sacred sage, drive away all negativity from my heart; take away everything unworthy and impure.” Waft the smoke toward your heart holding the smudge stick away from you and use the feather to waft the smoke towards you. Take the smudge smoke over your head, down your arms, and down the front of your body. Imagine the smoke lifting away all the negative thoughts, emotions, and energies that have become attached to you. Use exactly the same technique to smudge someone else.

Smudging not only cleanses people; you can also clear a room or area of any old or stagnant energy. All rooms need cleansing, just as much as they need physical cleaning. If your life feels stuck or things just aren’t going according to plan, you may just find that simple space clearing may solve the problem. Walk around the room wafting smoke into each corner. Call on the spirit of sage to drive away negativity from the room. Then ask the spirit of Sweetgrass to bring harmony and balance to the room. You can also face and call on the four directions if you wish. Remember, you should also smudge anything you will be using for your blessing, such as crystals, candles, flowers, or stones. Other reasons for smudging can be sick room cleansing, cleansing following an argument, protecting your home when you’re leaving for vacation, and even celebrating a birth or honoring a passing.  Studies have also revealed that smudging can kill bacteria and prevent them from returning for quite some time.
No matter how you use these techniques smudging will assure you that you have the tool you need to keep your space and your life clear of of unwanted negative energy.

7 Crucial Reasons to Learn Basic Survival Skills

Connect your spirit to your sustenance by learning a few primitive skills! What do I mean by primitive skills? From raising chickens to making fire to growing squash and stitching clothes, primitive skills refer to a broad set of practices and knowledge that all people used to have.

These are the practices that fed us, kept us warm, and allowed our species to survive. They pre-date the industrialized way of life, and they were as essential then as reading, writing, and paying your bills are now. Here are 7 reasons to learn some of these skills…shutterstock_366906995

  1. Help save the planet – This one’s kind of important… Primitive skills were all we had to survive when we lived in harmony with the Earth. In fact, they were all we needed. In the face of global warming, water shortages, and an atmosphere of general global chaos, we all need to step up and do our part. Marrying our modern technology with the wisdom and skills of our most ancient ancestors will set us up for centuries of beautiful abundant living.

  1. Builds confidence – Taking the time to learn a new skill is rewarding, but the results multiply when you do something that resonates with your spirit. When you do something that your ancient ancestors would be proud of, you are inspired in a way that is uniquely and characteristically human. If you can make a fire with your hands, you’ll feel like you can do anything.shutterstock_364512071

  1. Grow your own food – Rewarding and delicious! If you haven’t ever grown something, waited to see it form and ripen, and eaten it for dinner, it’s time. You’ll love it and you’ll feel your connection to the Earth grow every time. Take it a step further and learn to can or preserve your food when it is in season and abundant, (whether you grew it or not).

  1. Reduces stress and anxiety – No tricks, pills, or self-help books to buy here. Pick up your tools and walk outside. Leave behind your iPhone. Connecting to the natural world around you will disconnect you from your daily stressors. Unless that stressor is a mountain lion, in which case you should go back inside for the time being.

  1. shutterstock_372521689Great family activity – Everyone can help when it’s time to set up your spring garden. Parents, children, and teens will find engaging outlets outside, and can often find positive ways to spend time together. Take it a step further and try out a weekend primitive skills gathering, (like this one). On the homestead, your family is your team. You will find something for everyone.

  1. Be more self sufficient – You don’t have to go totally off-grid to establish your dominion. Having even a few permaculture-related skills and some experience will empower you in the way you see yourself and your capabilities, and it will never look the same again. Look up homesteading schools near you to learn what works best in your environment. Here’s an example of a great one near Asheville, NC, called Wild Abundance.shutterstock_378721531

  1. This stuff is really fun! If you’re going to put time and effort into a new skill, do something you enjoy. To me that sounds like bow making, but to you that might be studying plant medicines or making an earthen oven. To each their own.

In this modern world people need to return to a symbiotic relationship with the land and life around them. The great news is that this doesn’t have to be a sacrifice. Bringing this ancient wisdom into your life will bring great joy, fulfillment, and a chance to bond with your tribe.

6 Simple Ways To Detox Your Body From Toxic Sugar

The past focus on fats have led many American’s oblivious to the true waist line bandit:sugar. Many diseases and health issues are propagated by sugar, such as heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer’s, type 2 diabetes, depression, acne, infertility, and impotence. If you are one of those people who don’t think you are consuming a lot of sugar, I challenge you to keep track for three days. I guarantee that you are consuming sugar by at least 3,000 grams of sugar in that period. The average American consumes OVER 150 POUNDS OF SUGAR A YEAR. That’s so gross.

Removing this dietary staple is difficult. Not only is it found in everything packaged, we become dependent on the energy and dopamine rush we get from its consumption. As you proceed to remove sugar from your life, I’d recommend you create a list of reasons to post of your fridge and have a support group you can call on to talk you out of continuing that ‘sugar life’.

Got a bottle from the last tasty beverage you drank? Take a look at the nutritional information on it. There’s a high probability that you’re surprised at the outrageous sugar content. Realize as well that the liquid form of sugar is more damaging to your body than eating it. The liquid form is broken down more easily and faster so its literally going from your stomach directly into your liver. To eliminate sugar from your diet you can just skip the entirety of the bottles drink aisle.

Start Your Day With Protein

Some common foods that are healthy fat options: extra virgin olive oil, avocados, coconut oil, coconut butter, nuts and seeds, and fish with high Omega 3 content.

Keep Up With Your Carbs

Carbohydrates are the basic building blocks for energy. You probably need to up your carb input to keep similar energy levels to when you were eating sugar. You will want to avoid starchy food options as best you can, so breads, pastas, any potato, winter squash and beets for the first ten days. This ten day period is what will be necessary to reset your natural energy levels. I know we cleared away a lot of meal staples with the last list but don’t worry you still have many options. Greens, broccoli, kale, cauliflower, collards, asparagus, mushrooms, onions, zucchini, tomatoes, fennel, eggplant, artichokes, and peppers are just a few of the options that are in line with your goals.

Drink Water, Rest and Breathe!

Take the time and congratulate yourself for your efforts. Keep in mind your goal list and call on your support group when you need. Don’t underestimate the severity of the chemical change you are subjecting your body to. Drink lots of water so the toxins your body frees can leave the body. Detoxifying is a heavy drain on your bodies energy stores so rest up. You have the perfect excuse to take naps over the next couple of weeks, so make good use of it!

3 Tools To Decalcify And Open Your Pineal Gland

The pineal gland is a hormonal gland in the deep recesses of your brain. This pea sized organ has a big effect not only on your body but your spirit as well. The brain has many secret abilities and processes. The pineal gland is found in every vertebrate animal on the planet. The chemicals produced by it are the common denominator for all higher life forms. To maximize the pineal gland and the surrounding grey matter is to take yourself away from the basic instincts of life and delve into the mysteries and powers of the human condition.

Ayahuasca

ayahuasca-goddessThe Ayahuasca vine mixed with the leaves of the Chakruna bush, makes a sacred tea. This concoction is considered to be the pinnacle of herbal medicine out of the Amazon. There are thousands if not millions of first hand accounts stating profound healing on psychological, emotional, spiritual and physical levels.

Neurologically speaking, the chemicals of this tea cleans out every synaptic chain and neural cell in the brain. As it runs through, removing build up, it simultaneously activates and stimulates the brain’s pituitary system, hypothalamus and pineal gland. This process is called methylation.

A variety of of synthetic chemicals and toxins (fluoride and heavy metals being the most prevalent) are readily lodged in the fatty tissue of the brain, effectively blocking neural synaptic firing and disrupting the brain’s natural electromagnetic flow. With over 44,000 toxic chemicals introduced into the every man’s environment since the industrial revolution, we could all use a good brain scrubbing.

If you don’t have access to or don’t care for Ayahausca there are alternatives that can provide similar benefits. Various beets and Goji berries have an abundance of methyl-donors.

Meditation

meditationMeditation is a powerful tool in virtually every capacity. The wild formations of the natural mind are tamed and energy that would normally go to unproductive means, are willfully diverted to love, compassion and strength.

The mind is an instrument of action. It is always grasping, probing, understanding, and creating. Meditation is a manner of calming the mind, our sense of self. With out proper rest the mind would continue to race, becoming more fatigued. A fatigued organ isn’t a useful organ.

As the intention and discipline from our minds in the abstract sense, the effects can be seen physically.

Many studies have shown the physiological changes the mind under goes through meditative practice. As you will it, the body reacts to unconscious desires. The body is constantly reacting to our moods and desires to be best suited to achieving our goals.

Fasting

what happens to your body when fasting

Fasting has been longed used to achieve many spiritual goals. We consume parts of your planet to lengthen our stay on it. If you stop physically consuming things around you, your spirit becomes free and untangled in the world around you. History has shown us that fasting can improve mental clarity, bring focus to our spirit, and rejuvenate the body.

The cycle of eating is non stop. Our digestive systems are in constant use, always playing catch up. This constant energy burning and creation never gives our bodies the physical focus to heal. When you stop eating for a period in time, all the energy that was used in digestion is now available for other efforts.

The detoxifying element to fasting is tremendous. Without new toxins being introduced into your system, your body is free to take care of what is already present. The body will burn away heavy metals, toxins, viruses, fluoride and various other unwanted build up.
