3 Steps to Becoming the True Master of Your Life

Are you aware you are a magnificent multidimensional being of light compressed into this physical form to help raise the consciousness of the collective and share your truest nature, your Essence, with the world?

Your deepest light Essence is held within an ethereal womb located in your lower abdomen – what we call in Traditional Chinese Medicine the lower ‘Dan Tian’. The lower Dan Tian is an energy center that lies at the very roots of your life and forms the foundation for your earthly existence. It is the center that holds your Jing, which the ancient Chinese referred to as ‘Essence’.

The quality and quantity of your Essence is determined at the time of conception when the Essence of your mother combines with that of your father. At this point the heavenly influences from the stars and planets make their imprint; all this combined creates a blueprint which you carry throughout your entire life. This sacred blueprint determines your vitality, personality and ancestral karma; it is who you are in this lifetime, which signifies the deep sacredness of this Essence. [shareaholic app=”share_buttons” id=”5111573″]

Over the course of your life your Essence steadily diminishes. When it is all used up it signals the end of this earthly life and your spirit will leave your body, since this sacred substance serves as an ethereal anchor to hold your Spirit in your body. Modern day living is not designed to honour and nourish your vitality. Your diet and lifestyle, but most of all the state of your consciousness, greatly influence the quality and quantity of your Essence.

In order to live a healthy, vital and fully empowered life and step into your magnificence it is essential for you to understand how to nourish your Essence, which is an ancient and almost forgotten sacred art. The art of nourishing this sacred substance is to build it up to a point of absolute abundance that it naturally spills over into the collective to help heal it. The mark of a well-nourished self is the ability to nourish others.

So how do you build and nourish your Essence, because the world needs you to be your most empowered and magnificent self?

Why Your Mind Shouldn’t Be Going “Blank” During Meditation

The most common understanding of meditation is this idea that you should “empty your mind”, a phrase used time and again in modern discussions of meditation, but it is actually totally wrong, and a common misconception of what it means to meditate.

In fact, if you’ve ever felt disheartened that you couldn’t make your mind go blank, you weren’t actually doing anything wrong. Here we delve into what should actually happen when you meditate, and why your mind shouldn’t be going blank.

Understanding EmptinessScreen Shot 2016-07-08 at 1.46.00 PM

Firstly we need to distinguish the difference between ‘making the mind blank’ and ‘not thinking’ and how this applies to meditation. These are actually very different from each other, but it’s understandable if you automatically link the two, seeing as our everyday existence is experienced via our own thoughts.

Even as you read this sentence, your understanding of it and the concept it is explaining is through your own inner-voice.

Meditation is precisely an escape from this kind of thought; silencing the verbalization of thoughts, feelings, or emotions, and replacing it with experiencing these in their purest, rawest forms. You empty your mind of the filters through which it interprets the world, rather than the thoughts themselves. You can therefore stop thinking, but your mind is far from blank or empty. How To Balance And Strengthen Your Energy Cords

This is a visualization from the Peruvian shamanic tradition brought to you by Trevor Lewis, an empath healer and author. This exercise ensures you’re using energies wisely. To start, pick any area of your life where you want to change the energy you’re investing.

This can be a person or a concept, for example a relationship, friendship, money, or job. You can do this visualization with all areas of your life. Checking the cords within your life ensures that you have the right balance of energy with every person and field.focused-mind-energy

Next, when you have a person or concept in mind, imagine two cords connecting you to the target:
    1.    One for energy going from you to them or the concept.
    2.    One for energy coming from them or the concept to you.

Now, in your minds eye look at the two cords and ask:

1. Do they contain light or dark energy? If there is a dark energy present, imagine the light energy dissipating the dark until there’s only light energy.
2. Is it an equal exchange of light energy? If not, are you putting out more light than you are receiving back or vice versa? Now, visualize an equal amount of light energy exchanging between the cords.

When you want an increase of flow, resulting in a stronger connection for a significant relationship, visualize more light energy flowing through the cords. See the cords begin to strengthen and become more vibrant. Continue reading

Healing Ourselves And The World With Flower Essences

What Are Flower Essences?

When we look at a medicinal plant, we see the different parts used in various ways. Sometimes the roots are medicinal. Or sometimes the leaves and stems have healing properties.
Though when we look at the flower of any given plant, it is clear that it is often the most vibrant, attractive and spectacular part of the plant itself. It is the quintessential expression of that plant. Wouldn’t it then only make sense that this part of the plant offers us the most medicinal/healing properties of that plant?
To make a flower essence, flower pedals are gently plucked (with leaves preferably) and placed in a glass or crystal bowl that is filled with the cleanest water possible. With the help of the Sun’s rays, the bioelectrical field of the flower (and yes, bioelectrical fields have been shown to exist around every living thing in nature via Kirlian photography) is imprinted into the crystalline structure of the water molecule. Remember, it is also an established fact that water has memory and can be imprinted through various methods.

So what occurs is the imprinting of the quintessential vibrational field of the flower into water. The highest vibrational output of the plant is encoded into the water molecules. One could also think of it as the consciousness or literally, light codes of information from the plant being infused into the medium of water.
What Are The Effects?

Because the essences of flowers operate more on a vibrational/electrical level rather than a biochemical (like the use of herbs or foods), the effects are felt in a more subtle way. However, subtle doesn’t mean it isn’t powerful or effective. What a person experiences is more of a shift in awareness, a shift in understanding or a shift in consciousness around a certain situation. It can help us understand and transform the underlying emotional issue.

For example, if someone is dealing with an issue from some sort of trauma from a situation that occurred at some point in his or her life, flower essences can help bring greater understanding to the trauma event as well as bring the emotional ability to transform, release and forgive or accept what happened.

Flower essences are essentially nutrients for the soul. They help us on an emotional level. We begin to see things in a new light and can begin to deal with things in a new way. This leads to taking different actions in regards to processing and resolving any issues we might be working through.

They let us work through things in a truly holistic and therapeutic manner. This also works to help physical diseases or issues as it is commonly known in holistic and natural medicine that every physical health issue has an emotional issue below the surface that has created this physical issue. So as we heal ourselves emotionally, we can begin to heal ourselves on a physical level. “As within, so without.”

Dr. Edward Bach has stated, “The action of the flower essences raises the vibration of the being…they cure by flooding the body with the beautiful vibrations of the highest nature- in whose presence there is the opportunity for disease to melt away like snow in sunshine.”

Healing The World

Since flower essences help us process and heal the underlying emotional issues, a person is better able to make different choices and take different actions to bring about even more healing.

I believe that as more and more people heal themselves with flower essences and make better choices and take different actions, they directly bring about more healing with their friends, their family and their community. As more and more people work together in a holistic way, our relationships with each other, with the ecosystem and planet itself experience greater harmony, and thus, greater health and happiness.

Different Essences

All plants we see have different cosmic information that has been used to create their flower and so every flower has a different and specific healing potential. For example, the Iris flower essence helps a person unleash their unique inner creativity and self-expression. It is also known as the “paintbrush of the soul.”

The Silversword flower essence is an incredibly unique essence as this plant is only found on the Haleakala Crater on the island of Maui, Hawaii. One could intuit that because a meteorite hit there, it brought with it this special plant. The benefits of Silversword flower essences can be to help put a person on his or her path of purpose. It can be used when a person is ready for their truest soul work.

I personally find flower essences work even better when combined with cell salts. Because the cell salts are mineral compounds and electrically conductive, they help the flower essences penetrate very quickly and efficiently into our bodies. One that uses both cell salts and flower essences is called Happy Heart. It has many rose flower essences in it as well as the Silversword flower essence. I believe why so many people are unhappy in their heart is because they feel they aren’t doing their truest soul work.

The Happy Heart has dramatically helped me in several ways. There are however, many other essences out there and many places to find them. Pets and kids also benefit tremendously from flower essences as the nervous system in pets and kids are usually even more sensitive than adults. This allows for the essences to be utilized even more effectively.

Here is a list of many flower essences and their benefits.

Will you join?
I believe the more people that use flower essences, the greater healing we as individuals will experience. I see this healing extending to our relationships with our friends, our families, our social systems, our ecosystem and all beings that live on this planet with us.
For some, the beneficial effects of flower essences are felt almost right away. For others it can be days or weeks later. The key is continued use. They work in a cumulative way. The more consistent, the better.
Are you interested in using flower essences or have you used them before? Which ones are you currently using and what benefits are you finding? How soon did you start noticing the benefits? What patterns or habits have you transformed?
What other creative ways could we incorporate into our society the use of flower essences?

How to Be Mindful: 4 Important Techniques

What does being mindful mean? You may have heard of mindfulness meditation but what does it mean to BE mindful? Mindfulness is defined as the quality or state of being conscious or aware of something. Being mindful means to have that awareness of everything around you. According to Jon Kabat-Zinn, “mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way; on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally.”

baerefoot woodsMindfulness practitioners learn how to pay attention on purpose by practicing specially developed mindfulness meditation practices & mindful movements. Being mindful is an intentional way of being that you can cultivate on a daily basis. Being mindful means to be conscious and aware of all the things around you and how you affect them.

For instance, I live in a house that has a basement apartment below. I try to be conscious of the noise that I make and since I stay up very late at night doing things like writing articles I try my best to not disturb people sleeping in close proximity to my activities. I am careful not to wear shoes in my house and to walk lightly on my feet.

As a young man, I was taught by rainbow family elders to tread lightly in the woods. Not only does this mean to physically walk lightly, meaning on the front of your feet and not on your heels, but also to be aware of WHERE you step, HOW you step ,and even WHEN you step. Basically, this just means to be aware of how you affect your surroundings.

Another way to practice being mindful is with your voice. Not only can one take care in what they say but HOW they say it. The volume of one’s voice can also be important.

voice

Do you use an inside voice when you’re outside? You may not get heard or may get asked to constantly repeat yourself. Do you use an outside voice when you’re inside? You may be so loud that you become annoying without even knowing it.

Being aware of your surroundings and the vibration you are putting forth in those surroundings is very important when being mindful.

There are many ways to become more mindful and mindfulness meditation is one of those ways. There are many mindfulness meditation resources on the web. Here are some tips on being more mindful…

  • Pay attention to your breathing. When all else fails always return to this tip.

  • Try to notice everything that you are doing when you’re doing something specific. For instance, if you are taking a shower notice the sound of the water, the temperature of the water, the smell of the soap and any other thing that you can sense. If you are eating notice the texture and the color of the food, its taste, its smell and texture.

  • Focus on the things that distract you. Pay attention to where you space out, for example, being on the computer, driving, doing household chores. Focus on bringing more awareness to those moments of distraction.

  • Be aware of people around you. Notice their eyes, their clothes. Take advantage of every moment and compliment someone or express affection.

Imagine a more mindful world!
