How You Can Raise Your Health And Consciousness With Fulvic Acid

Perhaps you’ve heard of the health and consciousness promoting supplement being talked and written about in the holistic health community called fulvic acid. One of the foremost experts in organic soil science is Dr. William Jackson, said, “If the Creator felt that it was necessary to design something to solve multiple problems, and if this Creator wanted to show us the magic and miracle of pulling ‘rabbits from a hat,’ then an outstanding job was done with the design of fulvic acid. ”

Fulvic acids are created by soil-based microorganisms to help make nutrients available to the roots of the plant to uptake and utilize.

Fulvic acid has 14,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 electrons it can donate.

For human and animal health, fulvic acid helps in an incredible amount of ways. It is the most potent anti-oxidant known as it has 14 tetratrillion (that’s 14 with twenty-one 0’s behind it) electrons that it can donate.

Interestingly, it can both donate and accept electrons- something no other compound is known to be able to accomplish.

According to Supreme Fulvic, fulvic acids are also the richest source of electrolytes, helps to chelate metallic minerals (and transmute them into bioavailable forms), helps with vitamin and mineral transportation and absorption, catalyzes enzymatic activity and helps dramatically with neutralizing radioactive substances within the body as well as catalyzing the breakdown and elimination of herbicides and pesticides. The True Origins of “420”

So here we are on April 20th, national weed day or the international stoner’s day. Where did this tradition come from?

420 is an urban custom that refers to the yearly consumption of marijuana and cannabis and a way to identify with cannabis culture. This is celebrated every year on April 20 and also daily at 4:20 in the afternoon. A group of high school kids in San Rafael California who dubbed themselves the Waldos because of their hangout wall/meeting place outside of their high school used the term back in 1971 for the first time.

The phrase began when the students were looking for a rumored abandoned marijuana crop and they met at the Louis Pasteur statue at 4:20 to try to search for the crop. After several failed attempts to find the crop they just started using the term to describe marijuana smoking events in general. A writer from High Times was responsible for making the story a cult phenomenon. There are also stories about Grateful Dead practice sets in San Rafael that helped spread this like wildfire.

weed smokerThough the term may only date back to 1971, the use of cannabis in spiritual celebration and ritual does not. In fact, cannabis is known to have been used in India and Nepal in the Vedic period, somewhere between 1500 BCE and 2000 BCE. There were even references in Greek mythology to a powerful drug that eliminated anguish and sorrow, thought to be cannabis. The herb is also associated with the ancient Norse goddess of love, Freya. Our modern word ‘Friday’ comes from ‘Freya’s Day’, which we still associate with letting loose and enjoying ourselves at the end of a hard work week.

One cannot write on the history of cannabis without mentioning the Rastafarian influence. The Rastafari see the plant as the sacramental and profoundly beneficial medicine that is the Tree of Life depicted in the bible. Peter Tosh referred to it quoting Revelations 22:2, “…and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of nations.

forsaleToday the marijuana laws are becoming a lot more relaxed. There are at least 23 states and the District of Columbia that at this current time have laws legalizing marijuana in some form or fashion. There are also four states including DC that have legalized marijuana for recreational use. Marijuana is becoming decriminalized in many more states and I’m sure it is only a matter of time before it will be legal everywhere in this country.

Today we have public and private 420 celebrations all around the country. This may very well be one of the most important holidays of the year for cannabis connoisseurs. Given the herb’s history as a botanical aide for the enlightenment for mankind, it may be a celebration for something more divine. Enjoy today, enjoy the creation, and enjoy the blessed herb.

How To Balance And Strengthen Your Energy Cords

This is a visualization from the Peruvian shamanic tradition brought to you by Trevor Lewis, an empath healer and author. This exercise ensures you’re using energies wisely. To start, pick any area of your life where you want to change the energy you’re investing.

This can be a person or a concept, for example a relationship, friendship, money, or job. You can do this visualization with all areas of your life. Checking the cords within your life ensures that you have the right balance of energy with every person and field.focused-mind-energy

Next, when you have a person or concept in mind, imagine two cords connecting you to the target:
    1.    One for energy going from you to them or the concept.
    2.    One for energy coming from them or the concept to you.

Now, in your minds eye look at the two cords and ask:

1. Do they contain light or dark energy? If there is a dark energy present, imagine the light energy dissipating the dark until there’s only light energy.
2. Is it an equal exchange of light energy? If not, are you putting out more light than you are receiving back or vice versa? Now, visualize an equal amount of light energy exchanging between the cords.
stock-photo-two-hands-creating-an-energy-sphere-digital-illustration-1006499143. Do you need to increase or decrease the thickness of the cords?
When you want an increase of flow, resulting in a stronger connection for a significant relationship, visualize more light energy flowing through the cords. See the cords begin to strengthen and become more vibrant. Continue reading

Gut Instincts: Scientists Prove You Have a Second Brain in Your Stomach

“Some of the best advice you’ll ever get will come from your gut instinct”.

We’ve all heard expressions about trusting our gut and following our instincts, but now, science is finally giving us the evidence to support it.

Dubbed “The Second Brain” by Michael Gershon, Chairman of the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at New York–Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. The network of neurons that line our guts are filled with (over 100 million) neurotransmitters which to put it simply, do a lot more than simply digest our food.

braingutWhat Gershon found is that the enteric nervous system directly connects to the larger central system at the base of the skull, that assists in feeding information to our brains through the hypothalamus and pituitary, known as the Gut Brain Axis. This information exchange than helps to determine our mental state, as well as “playing a crucial role when it comes to disease in the body.”

While this second brain has not been proven to formulate its own conscious thought, nor play any major role in our decision-making process, “The system is way too complicated to have evolved only to make sure things move out of your colon,” says Emeran Mayer, professor of physiology, psychiatry and biobehavioral sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (U.C.L.A.).

This second brain plays a large role in our emotional well-being and instinctual motives as it is now being discovered that “a big part of our emotions are probably influenced by the nerves in our gut,” Mayer adds.

Butterflies in the stomach are a sign of physiological distress felt by this system, and sensed by the huge amount of neurotransmitters (more than the number found in the spinal cord or the peripheral nervous systems).

Since this amazing discovery, it is becoming more clear that our emotional well-being has a direct relation to our physiology. When we are stressed, anxious or nervous, there is a concurrent exchange of information being translated between our minds and our guts, which can be speculated as a probable cause in diabetes, obesity and stubborn belly fat.

shutterstock_388851361This incredible research comes pursuant of one of the most well-known scientists in his field Mark Lyte, of Texas Tech University Health Sciences. 30 years ago Lyte began his career long journey seeking to prove that “gut microbes communicate with the nervous system using some of the same neurochemicals that relay messages in the brain”. Lyte proposed that there was a connection between our mental state or mood and the bacteria found in the gut.

In 2007, it was announced that the scientific community would be launching a “Human Microbiome project, that would catalog all micro-organisms living in the body through a series of testing and since then biologist are understanding more and more that much of what makes us human, depends largely on the microbial activity within our bodies.

There are over two million unique bacterial genes found in each human microbiome that make the mere 23,000 genes in our cells seem insignificant by comparison ‘‘It has enormous implications for the sense of self,’’ Tom Insel, the director of the National Institute of Mental Health, told The New York Times. ‘‘We are, at least from the standpoint of DNA, more microbial than human. ”

These microbial in our gut, secrete chemicals and Lyte has found that “among those chemicals are the same substances used by our neurons to communicate and regulate mood, like dopamine, serotonin and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA).”

In conclusion, the sayings are true.

You are what you eat, and always listen to your gut.

5 Reasons Why You Should Drink Yerba Mate Instead of Coffee

Not a lot of people have even heard of Yerba Mate, that is, unless you live in South America, in which case you probably drink it more than Coffee. However, in the rest of the world it has mostly remained a novelty drink.

This is however, rapidly beginning to change, with more and more information present and available as to its magical benefits.

Here are 5 reasons to switch from Coffee, to Yerba Maté!

1. It’s stimulation lasts much longer!

Obviously, both Coffee and Yerba Mate contain Caffeine and thus cause a bodily and mental stimulation. Both contain roughly 75-80 mg of caffeine in an average cup. However, the caffeine in Yerba Mate seem to work differently.

Most research shows that the stimulation lasts much longer than Coffee, and simultaneously seems to induce a sense of wellbeing! It both stimulates you, and soothes you at the same time.

2. Antioxidants galore!

It has an extraordinarily high level of Antioxidants, which neutralize disease-causing molecules! Continue reading
