The title may have taken you off guard, but like all the other things in life you have to read between the lines and decipher the real meaning that is evident here. To start, let us focus our attention on a fairly ancient practice known as Sun-gazing, which has been practiced all over the world in various cultures and religions. Sun gazing, also known as the art of eating the sun, is very much like it sounds. It basically involves staring at the sun during particular periods of time when the UV radiations being emitted from the sun are lowest during the day. This practice has been claimed to be one of the most privileged and clarity-bringing processes that has been accessible to us as humans.

The practice of sun gazing has been attributed with the power to give the practitioner superhuman abilities. These include psychic abilities, telekinesis, and speculatively, even the ability to fly!

The basic practice involves starting the process slowly and then advancing gradually to the complete fulfillment of the same. At the start, the practitioner, also known as the sun-eater or sun gazer starts by gazing at the sun for ten seconds in the wee hours of morning or evening or both.

The practice has to be done while standing barefoot on the ground which has to be on dirt, sand or mud. Then the progress happens by increasing the time by ten seconds everyday so that the eyes can get accustomed to the light and heat from the sun.

The practice is done till the practitioner can stare at the sun for 45 minutes in all without discomfort or wincing. The practitioner then needs to walk barefoot for everyday so that he/she can transmit the energy they gained from the Sun to the Earth. Continue reading →

Here is a list of 20 spiritual and metaphysical travel destinations you need to check out. First, let’s take a look at some locations within the United States:

1) Sedona, AZ

Sedona is known for it’s strong spiritual energy, and is the home of many psychics, reiki healers, and shamans. It’s also a great destination for those who enjoy hiking and convening with nature, and is a perfect place to enjoy star gazing due to the absence of light pollution.

2) St. Augustine, FL

What was once believed to be an irreversible law of physics, the second law of thermodynamics, simply confused the impossible with the improbable.

“Murphy’s law is often cited as a form of the second law of thermodynamics (the law of entropy) because both are predicting a tendency to a more disorganized state.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murphy’s_law

Entropy, Murphys law, is however only one side of the equation, just as matter is in a constant motion and appears to become more disorganized over time, there is also the seemingly impossible organization of what ‘was’ into the miracle of life.

The proof of this discovery? Life itself, the most improbable of probabilities.

The essence of life brings order and structure to that which breaks down.

Imagine a plant, that grows from a seed, structuring the chaos of the ingredients all around it, into breath, a brilliantly complex geometric puzzle of life.

You are that which is living, that which brings order to chaos. You are the majesty of the order of the universe.

Rejoice, YOU are the impossible, become possible, the improbable 1 in infinity, become YOU.

Long ago the humans and the animals got along fine. All the peoples, human and animal, could communicate with each other and were at peace. The animals of that long-ago time were much larger than the animals of today. Indeed, the animals of today are but shadows of those who once were.

There came a time when we humans forgot our place and broke the harmony. We humans began to reproduce at an alarming rate, and we gave ourselves to the production of all sorts of weapons meant for the destruction of the animals: spears and atlatls, bows and arrows, blowguns and traps of all kinds.

We began to hunt, not just for food, but simply for the fun of killing. We humans also killed many animals just by pure carelessness, never stopping to think of the results of our actions. Even as we walked from place to place, we were not careful where we stepped, so that many of the tiny many-legged and legless ones were crushed to death or maimed.

Some humans went so far as to purposely kill little animals merely from a feeling of disgust or loathing, going out of their way to step on a bug or squash a harmless spider. It was clear that we humans believed ourselves to be the only ones who mattered in all of creation, and as we continued clearing land and building our cities; it looked as if there would soon be no more room for anyone else to live in the earth.

The animals decided something had to be done about this human problem. The bears met separately from the other animals. The Great White Bear, presiding at the council asked, “What’s the problem?”

“It’s these humans; they kill us indiscriminately.”

“How do they kill us?”

“With bows and arrows.”
