7 Of The Most Common Synchronicities We Don’t Pay Attention To

Synchronicity is the phenomena of meaningful “coincidences” that occur in life that simply cannot be explained in ordinary terms.  They defy a natural explanation due to their impeccable timing and how they coincide perfectly with other areas in our life.  This is literally a sign from the Matrix that you are on the right track and that you are aligned with the flow of the universe.

Here are seven common synchronicities that people experience when they are highly aligned. Next time you experience one, pat yourself on the back, because you are in alignment with the spirit of the universe.

1) Seeing repeating numbers like 1111, 222 or 333

This is probably the most common sign people receive from the universe.  Some people even believe that these are signs from our spirit guides or angels, letting us know that we are moving in the right direction or providing us guidance.

2) Thinking of someone, then immediately receiving a call or text from them

This is an extremely common synchronicity that most people believe is simply coincidence.  You can tell that someone has had this synchronicity when they tell you “I was just thinking of you!”.  This is synchronicity that is grounded in the energetic connection we have to all things around us.  We can literally tap into the thoughts and intentions of other people, regardless of the distance.  The number of minds that exist in the universe is one.

3) Hearing the first few bars of the next song to play on the radio in your mind right before it plays

Have you ever sung a song in your heard and then it plays on the radio or in the shopping mall right after you were thinking about it?  We have all experienced this, many times.  It would be naive to think that this is just one big coincidence that every single person experiences.  When your are attuned to the moment, your psychic abilities increase.  Our minds have pre-cognitive abilities, meaning that they sometimes respond to stimuli before the stimuli is even present.  What does this tell us about the nature of time?

4) Answers to questions you’ve been asking suddenly make themselves available to you

Perhaps you’ve wanted to know what your next career move should be or you’re in need of some advice for a big project.  Maybe you are waiting on a sign about a relationship you are in.  Without even consciously looking for the answer in the moment, synchronicity can simply bring answers to questions about issues like these in the most unexpected ways.

5) Ridiculously good timing

Perhaps you are flowing easily through the traffic and hit every green light, or you’re showing up somewhere at exactly the right time.  When your timing is good and you are going with the flow of the universe, you can be sure you are conducting yourself in a way that will open you up to more synchronicities.  When you are working with the universe, it seems to work for you in return.

6) Randomly receiving a gift that you’ve been wanting, even though you haven’t told anyone that you wanted it

Perhaps there’s a book you’ve been wanting to read, or a new gadget you’ve had your eye on, but you haven’t told anyone about it.  It’s on your bucketlist of things you want to treat yourself to.  Suddenly, your partner, relative or friend simply gives it to you as a gift out of nowhere.  “Hey, I saw this and figured it would be something that would interest you”.

7) Randomly meeting someone who has the ability to help you through your biggest challenge or current need

Simply put, the universe hooks it up.  People that you need in life often manifest synchronistically at the right time and place when you are properly aligned with the moment.  Someone you’re chatting with in line at the grocery store or meet at a party might be exactly the person able to help you with what you want or need in life.

The number one tip I could offer if you are looking to manifest more synchronicities in your life, is to meet the universe halfway.  Don’t sit back and expect the universe to hand you a lollipop.  If you are putting in the effort, have a vibration that matches the reality you want, and are doing your part to make sure that your heart, mind, and spirit are aligned with the results you are looking for, then the universe can’t help but guide you along your way.

7 Common Spiritual Symbols. Do You Know Their Meanings?

Symbols are one of the amazing things that can leave a strong psychological impression in our minds just from their appearance.  Just from looking at some symbols, we feel love.  While others, we feel darkness just from being in their presence.

The list of symbols with spiritual significance is endless, but here are 7 commonly used spiritual symbols and their meanings.

1) The Hamsa

Hamsa is the Arabic word for “five” and represents the five digits of the hand.   The Hamsa is universal sign of protection, and is often combined with the Evil Eye to ward anyone who wants to harm you.  According to the history of this symbol, if anyone looks at you with evil intentions while you are carrying this symbol, they will be unable to cause you harm.

2) The Tree of Life

The tree of life has been represented by a number of different cultures and religions across the world.  In Christianity, it is seen as the tree in the garden of Eden that Adam and Eve picked the forbidden fruit from.  Generally, the tree of life is seen as a having a connection between the four earth elements (earth, wind, air and fire), and is a representation of the infinite connection of all things in creation.

 3) The Flower of Life

One of the main symbols of sacred geometry, the Flower of Life is seen to contain all of the patterns of creation within it.  Consisting of 7 or more overlapping symbols, the flower of life dates back to almost every ancient culture and is considered to be one of the sacred formations that creation arose out of.  Here is an awesome video Jordan made containing all of the information you need to know about the flower of life:

4) The Yin Yang

This signs represents the harmonization of duality.  It signifies the unity between masculine and feminine energies. The yin yang is a spiritual reminder that balance between the light and the darkness provides the most holistic approach to living a meaningful life.  The universe abides by the law of balance.

5) The Lotus Flower

A very important spiritual symbol in Buddhism along with several other religions, the lotus is generally seen as a sign of enlightenment.  The lotus flower has grown out of the dark, muddy water of materialism to open it’s petals to the sunshine of enlightenment.  This symbol represents the journey out of darkness and into transformation.  It is also a sign of the importance of detachment, as water droplets slide easily off the pedals.

6) The Ahnk

This is a well-known ancient Egyptian symbol of life.  The ahnk essentially looks a lot like a cross, but with a loop for the top arm.  It’s meaning is a bit debatable, but the most accepted meaning of the symbol is that it is a symbol of eternal life and regeneration.  It was often used in funerals and tombs in ancient Egypt.  Today, it is often carried by people as a sign of life and spiritual wisdom.

7) The Pentacle

This symbol is often used in the Wiccan religion, and is essentially a 5 sided pentagram with a circle around it.  This symbol is believed to be a protection against evil.  The top point represents the spirit, while the other four points represent the four elements.

Post any other spiritual symbols you can think of in the comments!

10 Choices You’ll Regret in 10 Years – & How To Recognize Them Now

When you’re present, aware and actively creating; there’s nothing really to regret. You see that the mistakes you’ve made are lessons to learn that helped create who you are today. It’s never too late to start living from the heart, for that is a place where regret simply does not exist!

1. Pretending to be something you’re not.

What does it mean to truly be yourself? It’s speaking from the heart and having the awareness that lets you know when to engage and when to listen. If you’ve ever held back something you wanted to say because you’re scared the reaction; you’re still not being your self fully.

Think about the energy you let off in your interactions and see how it’s effecting your peers. The point is to allow your expressions to flow while still having the awareness of knowing what to say and how to say it.

2. Letting others choose your life for you.

This is a big one we all need to understand, especially if you’re a parent! We are our own teachers, guiders and mentors. This can look like a lot of different scenarios from your friend who is a bit too pushy to parents who make you go to university. Communication is key, expressing what you want in the moment is so important to make sure everyone understands where you are coming from. Continue reading

These Mind-Bending Images Of Shaolin Monks Will Leave You Speechless

Shaolin monks believe that what their bodies can take is a reflection of the strength of their mind.   Their training is highly intensive and focused on areas like balance, strength and endurance.

The limits to what these amazing men can do with their bodies is endless. This just shows us how we can push the limits of what we think is possible. When we can do this physically, we can extend beyond and do it mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

These images give us a glimpse into their world and show us what the human body is capable of. I was left speechless after seeing these.

6 Fundamental Questions To Ask Yourself As You Grow Spiritually

Awakening is a process that some would say that never really ends.  It’s more a journey than it is a destination.  If we live in an infinite universe, the process of fully awakening to all of it would be an infinite process.  So it is likely that there are no fully “awakened” souls, but rather those who are in the process of awakening.

Until all of life’s lessons have been learned, awakening can be spoken of as an ongoing process.  Chances are, if you are reading this article then you are on your way down this path.  Here are 6 questions to ask yourself and reflect on.  Some may speak to you and your experience, and others may not.  But the important part is to keep striving for higher consciousness, and to be willing to fall short sometimes in order to learn how to improve.

1) Do you question the nature of reality?

Screen Shot 2016-07-30 at 12.16.18 PM

Do you think about how everything came to be ?

Awakening souls often ponder their own origins, life after death, and the meaning of existence.

They may not have all of the answers, but it is the interest in the nature of reality that is a telltale sign of a soul that is undergoing the awakening process.

The important part is not always to have the answers.  Carrying around a sense of wonder and mystery is what breeds true transformation.

2) Are you moving in the direction of your dreams?

Are you engaged in some kind of activity that brings out your passion? Do you have work, hobbies, sports or relationships that are inspiring and that bring out your inner fire?  Someone who is not experiencing an awakening will think that living a life that makes you happy is wishful thinking.  Just go to school, and pay the bills.  Those who are awakening find it necessary to follow what makes them come alive inside, even if it means making sacrifices.

3) Do you feel love and compassion for humanity?

shutterstock_116740402The process of awakening is one of realizing that we are all interconnected.

When you feel this connection with the world around you, it becomes harder to be judgmental, mean, and cruel.

Those who are awakening are less likely to judge, criticize and compete with others, and frequently choose to lift others up over cutting them down.

4) Do you question what you’ve been taught in school and by the mainstream media?

Those who haven’t begun to awaken rarely question the information they are taught in school and the stories that they hear on the news.  A soul who is in the process of awakening starts to see through the veils of delusion that the system has pulled over our eyes, and begins to question and lose interest in what mainstream media has to say.  They may get called “conspiracy theorist”, but in reality, they just have a good bullsh*t detector.

5) Are your actions guided by your own moral compass?

shutterstock_108848726So many people believe matters of moral acceptability are made objective by what the legal system has to say about it.

For those who are asleep, right and wrong are often judged by what is illegal, what is unpopular, or what is natural.

An awakening soul usually measures moral dilemmas carefully, and pays attention to all of the grey areas in between.

Their choices reflect their intuition and their own sense of rationality, instead of reflecting the rulebook their culture has handed to them.

6) Have you experienced “the oneness”?

Experiencing the “oneness” is a profound experience, where we literally feel as if we are connected to everything in the universe.  Our ego dissolves, and we step into our universal identity. It’s a hugely transformational sensation that not everyone will experience, but if you have experienced it you will know exactly what it is like.  Once you experience this oneness, something inside you remains permanently activated.

shutterstock_238707229Though not all awakened souls will experience all of these things mentioned above, they will likely experience at least a few of them.  The awakening process is different for different people, but when it comes down to it, we are all souls.  We all live on the same planet.  We all have bodies, minds, and egos.  This is why the majority of awakening signs are so universal.

There is no reason to judge yourself or others based on how “awake” you or they may be.  Everyone is doing what they can from their level of consciousness.  Encourage them, guide them, and provide them with the wisdom and knowledge they may need to step into a higher version of themselves.  When we stop allowing our egos to try to take credit and gain recognition for spiritual awakening is when we will realize we are all on the same team, and that its our job to offer what we can to others to assist them on their journey.

The Two Sides Of The Conscious Community: Where Do You Fall?

One of the things that I’ve noticed over the years is that there seems to be some division within the conscious community.  Two sides have emerged that often seem to find themselves at odds with each other.  For every Yin, there is a Yang.  And even in a community built on love and peace, you still find a great deal of separation.

This isn’t to say that every member of this community is polarized on one end of this spectrum.  There are may shades of gray in between the two opposites,  so you may find yourself on a middle ground between these two polarities.  It will be interesting to review this within ourselves and on a mass scale so we can try to come to an understanding that combines the best of both worlds and use the strengths of both to initiate some real change.  With that being said, here are the two sides of the conscious community:

Side 1 – Positivity Is The Only Way

On one side, you have your predominantly “positive vibes” group.  This group is usually very concerned with the quality of their vibration and they aim to live in a positive state as much as possible.  They don’t see any good reason why they should dwell on anything that makes them feel anything but blissful.  Life is too short to spend it feeling miserable.  Avoid the negative, and amplify the positive.

Oftentimes, this crowd follows the Law of Attraction and works to avoid conflict and drama.  They tend to believe that it is important to have positive thoughts, use positive language and focus on positive issues to create the most spiritually fulfilling life possible.  They typically do not like to focus on problems or negativity in any form, and tend to avoid anything that compromises their high vibration.

The judgment on people who are not always positive seems to be that they feel they are focusing too much on the negative, and are thus drawing more negative circumstances into their realities.  This side of the fence tends to believe that the way you initiate positive change is through focusing on the positive, and that negative thoughts only create more problems. Therefore, they would say, by focusing on government corruption we only create more government corruption because we are feeding it our attention.

Side 2 – Facing The Darkness Is The Only Way

This side tends to spend more time talking about the problems with the world in hopes that they can arrive at a solution.  This side of the community is very vocal about the things that they want to change.  They are concerned about issues like animal rights, immunizations, GMOs, conspiracies, and corruption in the government.  They tend to believe in the importance of spreading awareness about the problems in the world in order to initiate positive change.

These people tend to be activists, and believe that facing the negative is what allows us to transmute it into something positive.  If we don’t take the time to learn and talk about what is wrong with the world, how can we expect to change it?  These people don’t exactly dwell on the negative, but they invest more of their attention there in hopes it will result in something transformative.

The judgement appears to be that they believe the positive vibe side has their head in the sand, and are deliberately ignoring important issues to make themselves feel better.  At times those on this side will express that they believe that people who focus only on the positive are squandering their potential to initiate change.  They will often say that ignoring problems doesn’t make them go away, it just takes help and support away from the cause.  They believe it is our duty to help those in need and stand up for what’s right, even if it makes us feel miserable or uncomfortable.

The Middle Ground

The middle ground between these two polarities is that both sides have something to offer.  We should speak out against injustice, but at the same time we should not allow it to drive us into insanity.  Friedrich Nietzsche once said “Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster”, meaning that we should be careful that we don’t turn into the very thing we are fighting against.

By creating a balance in our attention on both the light and darkness, we are well equipped to be the change the world needs right now. Ignoring the darkness won’t produce anything positive, but neither with dwelling there.  By learning what we are up against and balancing that out with spiritual grounding and a well-trained mind, we have a much greater force in the world.  We can’t live in ignorance, but we can’t allow the darkness to consume us.

Although there are many similarities between these two sides, this one particular issue has created a bit of division. Do we solve today’s problems by generating awareness about them and fighting for change? Or instead, do we solve today’s problems by choosing to make peace with them and focusing instead on what’s going right with the world?

What side of this spectrum do you fall on? Do you believe positivity is the key to world change, or that fighting the darkness is the key? Or, have you developed a perspective somewhere in between? Comment below and let’s hear your take on this issue!
