What does Waking up Really Mean?

What is waking up?  How do I know if I am awake?

If you are familiar with our site and sites like it you may have heard this term “Waking up”.  We hear about all the signs and symptoms of waking up but do we know what it is to actually BE awake?

Lets start with defining what we are talking about and then we will go into what it means on a spiritual level.

If you type “Define Awake” into Google you should see something similar to the picture below.

awake

Lets see how these definitions help us narrow down what we mean when we say waking up or to be awake spiritually.

What does it mean to be spiritually asleep?  If you have watched the Spirit Science series or are familiar with the procession of the equinox you will see that we have been asleep as a planet for a very long time.  What this means is that our level of awareness about the connections all around us has declined to a point where we feel separate from everyone and everything around us.

2. Cause (Someone) to Wake from Sleep

Waking up spiritually, in its more basic terms would be to recognize with your whole being your connection to everyone and everything around you.  This is often referred to as the mystical experience as described by Alan Watts.

3. Regain Consciousness

Regaining consciousness is to remember that we have always been connected with the oneness of the universe.  This is important because it can help us recognize how the mistreatment of others is no different then cutting off your left hand or to poke out one of your eyes.

4. To become AWARE of; come to the realization of

There are many levels of awareness that come with waking up and ultimately being awake.

  • Some people are born awake and remain awake during their lives. This is very rare but not unheard of.  It is theorized that if a child is nurtured with awareness it will be more aware and able to to stay awake.
  • Catalysts such as events can also cause an awakening within a person.  Powerful transformation doesn’t have to be painful but for some it does come with a lot of pain.  Some people speed up their awakening process when they experience a powerful trauma or are diagnosed with a terminal illness.

Spirit Science 22 (part 5) ~ Vessels of Light

What do light, singularities, consciousness, and boundary layers all have in common?

The original concept behind this video was a script written by an old friend of mine named Moises, who wrote a script about Light and its relationship to the container around it. The container being the boundary layer between the internal and the external awareness.

This is an exploration into that idea, that we are not the internal, nor the external, but the awareness of both, and the science and theory of how that works. Enjoy!

The vessel is a created form by the consciousness that came together to create something new. The example that we use in this video is the Seed and the Egg at the moment of conception. The point in which a new “thing” is created entirely. Continue reading

Spirit Science 6 ~ The Flower of Life

[shareaholic app=”share_buttons” id=”5111570″]

Hidden deep within our past, lies a secret that has been long forgotten. There have been various organizations throughout history that have protected its secret, The Masons for example have done just that. What are we talking about?  It’s the ancient secret of the Flower of Life.

The Flower of Life is one of the fundamental geometries that consciousness creates through. Please understand that Consciousness itself is not the Flower of Life, but rather, the means by which it creates.

With the awareness of what these geometries mean, we can recognize that our bodies too are manifested from this most basic pattern, and that we are the creators that made us this way. Everyone, everything is connected, and when you can see it in you… You see it everywhere.

If you’d like to learn more about the Flower of Life and Sacred Geometry, please check out this advanced course that I recently put together. It’s a free article with an immense amount of information all about the flower of life.

crystaltypesI’d like to share another resource with you today which rocked my world and completely changed my life.  In fact, it is THE BOOK that most of Season 1 of spirit science was based on, and the greatest resource i have found to date with all of this information. I’ve probably told you about it a thousand times before, but I’m doing it again because it’s such an incredible book.

It’s called “The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life”, and it’s insights are valuable and mind-blowing. I highly recommend it, you’ll never read another book like it.

Through this book, Drunvalo Melchizidek chronicles his experiences through the past 50 years of his life researching consciousness, ancient civilizations, ET’s, hidden technologies, and the human energy field known as the Merkaba.

In addition to that, he also shares his understanding of how to cultivate the human energy field in a state of awareness to become more aware, more conscious, and grow even more as a being. You can tell I really love this book, I talk about it constantly! :P

The Study Of Spirit: Karma

Hello, my name is the late 20th century and I’d like to massively misinform you about the nature of Karma!

The concept of Karma has become massively popular in modern culture, even outside the spiritual sphere of thinking due in part to pop-culture references (such as the Radiohead album Karma Police, video games like Fable, Fallout and Mass Effect and the shows likeThe Simpsons), but also largely due to a rise in general spiritual awareness. You could ask any man, woman or child to define it and they would probably all be able to give you a fairly comprehensive answer. It would most likely go something like this:

“If you do bad stuff, bad stuff will happen to you.” Continue reading

fret
verb: to feel or express worry, discontent
noun: A sequence of bars or ridges on the fingerboard of some stringed musical instruments (such as guitar), used for fixing the positions of the fingers to produce the desired notes

I have this memory of being a young girl playing alone in my bedroom.  But I wasn’t playing with dolls, I was playing pretend, and not that I was a ballerina, but that I was locked in my room and pounding on the door desperately trying to escape.  I sat by the door with tears in my eyes, though I could get up and walk out any time I wanted.  There was no lock on my door as a child, so I drew one in with magic marker. The imaginary lock remained there until puberty when I upgraded to an actual locked door.  I remembered this childhood game only recently as I’ve been contemplating my reasons for being an artist.  Whenever I feel my efforts are in vain I take a step back and really ask myself if I am on this journey because I am compelled to from within – or if it is a game for me, a goal I set in my mind that I’m too stubborn to let go of until I reach it. The question keeps coming up, why art, why make it? Does it really help anyone but myself? Continue reading
